I know this is a while ago, but TocoToco is actually a really good pal with egg launcher. Getting him starred up would help immensely. And that is some bad luck with like 5 of those lucky toco's but none for the spark-it that you needed.

Don't worry! Tocotoco will make a major appearance as the series goes on. I had no idea how good Tocotoco was until I started the series!

I was farming Anubis and I somehow got 2 lucky Digtoise back to back. I really couldn't believe it either.

what does the artificial mountain mean? How does it help you farm Luckys?

Pals spawn when you enter render distance so if you can quickly traverse a large area you will see a bunch of pals spawns. The idea is the more spawns you see the better your chance of finding a lucky version. Normally what I do is put a base at the top of a mountain and at the bottom so I can slide down the mountain and teleport back to the top quickly. But in the desert there was no slope to slide down and so I needed to make a bunch of big ramps i could slide down instead. Edit: I should also mention that I explain this a lot better in episode 1 so watching that might clear things up a bit.

2:15 work speed does not help with ranches. the only thing that helps is 4 staring them (condenser).

It does affect ranches. It's not much of a difference, but a difference nonetheless.
