Nice trailer. For the last 2.5 years, I've been building a 5x10 cargo trailer camper. It has been quite a journey. We love it. Thanks for making this video. we hope to get some material up soon.

Thanks for making this video and explaining what you did. I'll probably not be camping in cold weather, but with that said, I love that you installed plugs for an electric blanket, that is a great idea. I'm still deciding whether or not to try and tackle this kind of project, but the more I watch, the more I think I can do it.

That is a very nice home build . looks professional. the weight would be a bit too much for my car. I am planning to build a foamy with the weight as light as possible.

Very interested in the ACM, as I’m considering it for my build. A few questions on it: - Where did you source your ACM? - I see that you used for the roof as well? What thickness? Did you say 1/8? Guessing that’s 3mm? - Bending it… any tips? And on the sides, did you float it or glue down solid? Great build. Loved the technique. Did you mention your total weight of the teardrop?

Hi Justin, I bought the ACM at a local sign shop. Had to phone around until I found one that carried 5x10 sheets. I used it on the roof as well. It was glued down everywhere With PL Premium. When bending the radius, take it slow and use straps. The sheets are also stapled on along the edges. Total weight is 1630lb.

Don’t remember exactly. Just know it was about $1000 just for the trim in this teardrop. Pretty expensive

Hi Andy, we are building our own teardrop. I have questions about that sidewalls of the galley. What is the black material/part where the trim goes? Is that a gasket or butyl tape? Can you send me a link of what it is and where you bought it?

Bends easy. Start at the bottom and staple the sides as you go. The bottom is standard plywood with a couple coats of poly

@@withAndyK Wait, did you PL the whole top and sides and then staple the actual ACM? I'm about to install mine, the only concern I have is the 18" radius. Might have to kerf the underside.
