Ever since I was a kid I’ve been a gamer, but lately it has been hard to find the time. I also may or may not still live with my mom so I feel guilty gaming while at home. That's why I decided to build a secret gaming room under the stairs in a hidden closet so that I can play all the games I want in peace and quiet. So my mom didn’t find out about this project, I sent her and my sister to Paris for the week. This was tricky, but we figured it all out and it turned out incredible! I love my new gaming room, but it was insane and super intense to make. Luckily we had lots of laughs along the way. I love making these videos and can't wait for you to see what is next.

Your house looks fun I wish I could come and see! Your videos are inspiring me to make my own secret gaming room! I already did but I don't know how to make a regular door secret? My parents won't let me put holes in walls or destroy the door I tried using boxes and blankets but my parents found it and they said they needed access to that room easily without crawling in and out boxes. Do you have an idea or suggestion?

Only moms can find people, or objects. They have special powers where they make objects appear out of no where. Spend time with family while you can, trust me when they are in heaven you will wish you spend more time with them, I still do. Anyway loved the video its golden content, Matthew is so underrated.

Should've watched a drywall video or two. It would have been so simple to have a piece of drywall cut to the size of the hole, taken the drywall putty to hide the seam, and then used spray texture. It would have almost been like you never put a hole in the wall.

You should put rockwool insulation between the joists held in place with chicken wire then plasterboard the underside as a fire barrier now you have running electrics under the stairs... this will also help sound reduction abit. I would say you need some ventilation so that gap above or below the hidden door is good for that.. ? Also you need to be careful not to lift the stairs when someone coming down it... so yea there's that ! 😅
