i like that kan differentiated between cheese and risky finish, a cheesy is something easy but hidden, a risky finish is obvious but hard

It's called a 'risky finish' in Trakcmania. Called risky because in knock-out rounds you're out of the race if you miss it, and when the field is cut in half you need to hit it consistently.

Pretty similar to how Zeepkist works, as usually lobbies will only be 8-10 minutes long

At first I was thinking incredibles because the see through roads kinda looked like frozone's ice path. But then you said swinging about 5 times and it clicked. The nostalgia rushed back in my head and nickle back started playing in my head. And they say that a hero can save us I'm not going to stand here and wait.

Typically in trackmania the skill finish is an entirely different finish, especially on "full speed" tracks where you never tap brake, it'll have for example a finish that you can only make if you have sufficient speed to make a jump, but if you don't have the speed you have to go the long way without the jump shortcut to either the same finish or another further finish. Cool track idea! Definitely rainbow road vibes

With the colour of the track pieces it looks more like Frozone in The Incredibles

My first guess was spiderman, but then you said swinging so i knew it was harry potter

I jumped around the crane on the right, and I did a corkscrew off the edge of the third jump so I would get in that fan faster.

That was awesome. Right at the end you could tell ten people exactly made the skill shot finish.

Good way to imitate Spiderman And yeah its a 'risky finish' and in this case it is a risky finish, but usually it is only a couple seconds, so the normal finish would be like one jump after the crane jump instead of all the way around the back of it. Its not a cut/cheese. Like it can even be right next to eachother but one has like a second less of flight time or one you need to brake to make the finish vs one that's a speed check. So like you are going towards the finishes stacked above eachother. One of them needs you to be going at least 150kph, but 150kph is hard to get without optimal driving. And the other is just driving uphill without a booster which means you are going under 100kph for a few seconds so you are a few seconds slower than the other.

You should totally do a rainbow road theme one of these days

A very good themed track. Don't worry about the other guys complaint. Everyone was finishing it so it wasn't hard and a few got the skill finish, so it was a well balanced track. Well done.

My way of understanding and explaining different kinds of shortcuts. (Unofficial names) 1) Cheating "Cheese" Not usually intended for others, only the creator(s) would know. Still possible for everyone though. Can include glitching. 2) Shortcut "Cheese" An intended for use path that is typically easy. Not necessarily obvious or even its own full route. 3) Unintended/Real Cheese Exploit paths being used as a shortcut Can be theorized or found later. Uses glitches or just an unintended route. 4) Risky "Cheese" A route that is intended for difficult use. May be a shortcut or may be a skip. Usually an obvious route but hard to achieve, giving some but not full incentive to take the route in scenarios such as racing or no one else gets it and time runs out so no need to get that specific route. Shortcut being it uses an extra track pieces in the skip, jump, boost, anything. Skip being it does not remove nor add track mass to the map but is intended to go from 1 to the other. Other kinds that I know of. *Think in a Mario Kart sense Extra 1) Assist Usually an item that helps you save time, usually used to catch up. Extra 2) Conditioned Shortcut "Cheese" Shortcuts that require a condition to use, such as items. They were indeed intended as a shortcut. Extra 3) Item Only Cheese An unintended skip that can be made possible with certain conditions, like when you use items for instance. Technically there is more but whatever.

You often mention aspects of your tracks that you took from Trackmania and personally, I would LOVE to see you make Trackmania videos!

Yo thought id give a lil trick i learned, if you scale that grid roof block up and place it flat against the skyscraper faces it gives the impression that they’re window frames while keeping cost effective n easy. Absolutely love the track dude, keep it up

I would love to see a two paths theme or slow and steady vs quick and risky theme or any such variation

One theme could be easy medium expert, impossible, and make a track with different ways reashing the finish. The impossible could be one where you have to use a glitch to be able to finish.

13:15 I would love to see a map where you can go wherever you want: multiple pathways, be able to ride on a flat wall (with fans behind), high speed, no checkpoints, just get to the finish. I think that city map would a good template for a cool map. A cheese using fans behind a flat wall would be cool as well

Really enjoyed this one! And an idea for a future theme - I'd love to see some Zeepkist tracks based on real-life race tracks... maybe F1 circuits?
