I'm a full time public school music teacher and part time woodworker, and I love to see kids digging into not only woodworking, but film, music production, and content creation. Keep it up!

I love what you did with that bass. Was an original idea in my book. Would love to see what you do with a bamboo and other woods stained or natural colors that offset each other but look great as t together.

1 sheet of plywood + $50,000.00 worth of power tools + a cool imagination + good skill levels = a most excellent axe. Love it !

Dang, look at this young upstart. Young dude going to be giving all these old folks a run for their money, that's for sure. Great work my dude.
Bro, I literally have a *degree* in lutherie - and I don't think I could make an instrument this clean and with this much imagination. Well done. You've earned my subscription!

Awesome guitar, you even made the holes fir the pickups abd emectrinics without a router! 🎸
Really well done young man. This is perfection! Love the whole concept, the Les Paul junior with the Ibanez style make neck. The wood design of the body is just beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites of this competition. I think Tim will agree that you have a bright future as a master builder! Stay safe and good luck!!!!

That is one of the most beautiful guitars 🎸 I’ve ever seen! Using plywood to create the herringbone pattern is genius!
How this channel doesn’t have 1 million subs is beyond me.
Pretty sweet, and now you have the pride of owning something no one else has that you made yourself. Well done!

Ya. Like infinite times better than Diresta's "attempt".
I spent 50 years in the furniture industry and I have to compliment you on not only you original and beautiful built but your safety in using woodworking tools. I've seen way too many unnecessary injuries over the years, both from poor habits and from operators too intimidated to stand up to the unsafe procedures of their employers. Congrats on a sweet build!

Give plywood to the correct luthier, and... Voila, a beautiful guitar is born.
Hey Miles! I finally had time to watch your full guitar build. Super nice job! I've been thinking about building one of Tim's kits for a while. You did a great job of showing great his kits are to build.

Great Build. Love that you did that wonderful pattern. Great planning, great execution. I was worried about a lot of blowouts when the router came out during the pickup cavities and neck pocket, but it really turned out well. I would love to see an update in the future as to whether the hardware stays put. Particularly the bridge. The drilling into the grain makes me wonder about long term stability. I liked and subscribed because of this video! I also pinned it on Pinterest and shared it around. Great work!

Awesome ! This is how a Guitar Build Off should be. From "scratch". NoT from a commerical kit. This really challenges the builder.
Miles, this is my first time watching your show and man you blew me away! This Guitar is superb! the way you got the lines in the wood in a pattern just makes the guitar look excellent so finished. If i was in a music shop and saw that guitar. it would be mine; and you play great too. was that your music playing in the video? I would like to have it. neat build , love the innovative use of plywood....very kool RJ
This is by far, one of THE BEST videos I have ever seen, Anywhere, it was well presented and narrated, and I appreciated that you adhered to proper safety proceedures. I built a guitar similar to yours about fifty years ago which ended up on a good friend's wall as wall decor instead, but with mine I used 'burled wood' over 1 1/4" hardwood, while the neck, head, and tuning machine were donated by my Woodshop teacher, as well as everything else from another friend's stripped guitars. Wish I still had it, because it actually came out better than I ever hoped for, but since I just bought a few new tools for woodworking, I'm looking forward to building something similar to yours, but in Obsidion Black and Gold Leaf, with mucho clear urethane to protect the finish. Thank you for sharing your expertise and excellent Craftsmanship.
looks super cool!
Well done!!!
Super impressive! Came out amazing! 😎👊🎸
This is so cool, love this guitar and video.
amazing talent!
Well done ..and ty for all the Fine details.. Your the only video with such great detail
So many amazingly talented people out there! Building, creating, collaborating, making the world a better place. 👍 amazingly guitar 🎸
It's so good to see a young man who I'd guess knows which gender he is, and can do work..with his hands..and tools, and build something. To take raw materials, perform tasks, and have something much more valuable than the raw materials in the end. Your father must be extremely proud, I'd be proud of you! Great work! Awesome guitar!! Thank you for the high quality video..love the music too:) I'm a manufacturing engineering and have had safety drilled into me forever. Your use of ppe and safety tools while cutting is great to see. Watch your plum when you drill. You're lucky the tuner holes lined up in the middle..you were drilling way off center. Sometimes you can back away a little and see if you're lined up straight!
What a beauty!
Very creative! Very very nice job👍👍!!
