you speed up, infinitely. I was very bored and made a small ( approximately within a 2x2 platform square) tube circle with two entrances facing each other. I ended up stuck inside, unable to leave regardless of the direction I went because of how close together the entrances were. if I just let my character circle through the tube, it got faster and faster and faster until the character was going so fast the camera couldn't follow it and just jittered in place. when my friend got back to base he deconstructed a tube section to let me out and I instantly left the map... I think. I couldn't open my map or anything to check, and when respawning there was no crate to collect

@@kyloh8706 it might have crashed if I let it go long enough, haha. I only let my character speed up like that for about... four or five minutes, I think? before he got to base to try and let me out. if you get stuck like that I theorise that logging out and back in will get you out of the tube, if you have no-one to free you. or, as I thought of in hindsight, get a friend to deconstruct the entrances, not the tubes. that may theoretically let you exit without shooting you off god knows where. you'll want to slow down first though, which: I discovered in that tube that if you hold backwards (relative to the direction you are travelling, rather than where the camera is facing if I remember correctly ) you can actually slow down and come to a stop in a tube, although you still cannot exit. it can let you change directions mid-journey if you went in the tube by mistake though.

What I love about the hypertube section of this video is the scientific progress. Josh does reproducible experiments to work out exactly how a system functions. We're actually seeing a man learning and gaining knowledge about his world. Knowledge that he will use for great evil.

This man is a true scientist. He builds an experiment, tests it 3 times, conclude. Rinse and repeat until he has something repeatable. Then use his new found knowledge to further improve on the previous experiments. This video should be shown to all people who want to pursue R&D.

The sheer amount of time Josh puts in just to make the most horribly inefficient abomination possible is astounding

I’ve binged so many of your videos this week. This one though, specifically the hyper tubes, had me laughing so hard my face hurts 🤣🤣🤣

It’ll never not be funny how accurate the time skips are. The patience that Josh has is insane..

Yeah I’m pretty familiar with this game and getting to the point he does while being as intentionally inefficient as possible you’re looking at probably like 80-100 hours of playtime edited down to 22 minutes. Turning that much footage into a cohesive and entertaining video with a linear narration is an absolute feat of focus and dedication and he deserves every single like and sub he gets.

I actually still use this hyper tube system in the game together with parachutes to travel to different points on the map that much faster. And the idea actually was brought to me by this video xD

This is the first Let's Game It Out video I ever saw. I hadn't even heard of Satisfactory at that point. Coming back now that I have a much better grasp on the game, this is also vastly more hilarious. I laughed so hard I'm crying now.

The devs definitely use your world to test bugs and framerate, like I can see them going "Alright, now that we've fixed the conveyor lag let's... Yep, the conveyor weave still runs at a buttery smooth 60 crashes a second."

I did this on the forest and it takes upto 10 minutes to load all structures but then it goes to 4 seconds per frame once its loaded!

@Brlph duu i'm sorry, but the correct term is "sirslidesalot". the "s" is after the word "slides" not "lot"

I was incredibly disappointed that at peak velocity, the hypertube system did not cause Josh to accelerate to near-lightspeed, creating a chain fusion reaction with the atoms in his body and the atmosphere, turning the hypertube into a world-ending nuclear railgun.

I mean josh could have been moving faster then light to see the beginning of the universe because there is a theory that when you move faster then light time starts moving backwards around you or more so you are caching up with the light particles from before then.
