Neo Geo MVS ‘2024 Metal Slug edition’ with Mister FPGA - FULL VIDEO
My dream cabinet.. a new take on the original NEO GEO MVS cabinet from the 1990's.
Upgraded with new features like the option to play ALL the Neo Geo games with use of the Mister FPGA computer. Original Sony CRT / PVM monitor for the real feel and much much more.
In this video I will take you through the entire process of how I designed and build this monster. At the end we will play some Metal Slug of course!

@@retror.d.1630 He went to stay with original as possible and went CRT, but, now with the new upgraded retrotink we can finally get that true CRT look on LCD, but the price is up there and if it ever drops then it will definitely be the way to go as it would be so much cheaper and easier. But for staying original this CRT is a must!

Love your videos detailing your builds No one does what you can do with arcade machines, and you should be proud of your work Will be interesting when you do a pinball machine, be interesting to see your special take on that sort of machine Even though i could never afford such things, i love that people like you show people what can be done at extreme ends of this stuff I am just glad you can share your work with us, and maybe you inspire others to do similar things. Your clients must be very pleased with you and your work. Its great how you can make custom machines to there tastes.

3 honest thoughts on this video/build - do not mean any disrespect: This cab build could be multi hour'd and episode'd. Would suck to capture and edit I'm sure so I can totally understand why this couldn't be done. But seriously?! A (North of) €5000 2130QM calibrated, serviced, unshelled, and installed into the cab to just play Neo Geo games?! Do you also wipe your hiney with AES carts? Are you seriously going to ignore the pillar genre of the system and not demo a single fighting game?!?! It doesn't matter if you're bad an hour of play should provide enough footage to pad this video out to 20 minutes.

@@-Astro--, anytime I see comments like this I shake my head. Anyone can say something sucks but nothing of substance here. Got anything constructive on what you would do different? Only thing I'm not a fan of is how the marquee is angled up vs straight (personal preference vs flaw) but the rest seems solid. Then again... I haven't built one yet but really want to but I have much different ideas to go with my TV that can rotate 360 degrees to play pinball vertically.
