Actually did a combine video years ago it's possible I'm slower now but I played football and baseball and highschool and was only good for speed lol ran 4.70 back to back in the video which isn't blazing track speed but I had been out of high school for a few years by that point and I wasnt doing sports at all haha@@ehernandez08

Typical EA, that's why I play with the announcers off

There are 3 animations when you go to get set. If you do the jump warmup, you’ll never go faster than a 4.4. The most common animation maxes you out at a 4.3, but there’s a rare 3rd animation where your guy turns his foot outward while getting set. This is how you get sub-4.1. If you don’t get this animation, it really doesn’t matter how well you *think* you did it, you’ll never go sub-4.2. It happens like once every 30 times.

So, for the 40-yard dash, there is a special animation that needs to appear to get record-breaking speed. Look for your runner to measure off his steps by first turning his back leg outward, then he will put his hands out and slowly step them back one at a time. When you get THAT animation, you are ready to break the 40 record.

hey, for the 40 YD D, try using claw, the old trickshotting controller handle where u put ur pointer at the buttons, m ash lt rt with middle fingers, tap a once. should help make it easier since everything can be used without delay. hope that makes sense, use claw.

maybe they changed it so that you can’t get down into the 4.1s who knows

It had a menu tab to change difficulty when he started, so I think so.

Bengal, if you play on PC with an Xbox control, the keyboard is much more reliable for combine inputs than the controller.

I think that to get a faster time, it’s about the timing in when u hit a to dig deep

Do you have to hold down the dig deep button or just push it?

Wish the combine meant more than is does like bench press equals throw power and if u ran sub 4.3 you can get 90+ no matter the build on career mode

I've been having the same problem with the 40 yard dash the lbs and rbs don't seem to line up right or register I pushed them.. I got a 4.49 result once can't get it again I am trying to get 4.35

The problem with the 40 is that when your player goes into slow motion the timer keeps going in normal time

Both! Just hold the controller with your knees and triggers up towards you, that gives you both your hands free so you don't have to hold the controlller. I did that and got 4.11 without hitting dig! Took me 15 tries!
