As the creator of the XE mod it stands for eXpanded Edition. Never loved the name, but my FH2 XE mod already had the name, so I stuck with it. Didn't like the name but never came up with a better one. Thanks for covering the mod! It's not perfect but I'm happy people enjoy it.

Bro i install the mod in moded rhg xbox360 and i have some traffic cars broken looking like polygons. What do i do? The fast and forious cars works fine and other horizon 2 too

I remember when AI traffic being added as playable vehicles on the 360 got people banned for a century because they were clearly a little butthurt it only took a year to break the files for it. They also banned people who were innocent receivers of these vehicles from the gifting option.

We need a full version of "Life is a Box Truck"

The reason for the PT cruiser being just a box in photo mode is that there are two models for each car. One is the one you drive and the other is the one to be seen in the autoshow, photo mode, race results, cutscenes etc. I first noticed that in the Ferrari F40 because the drivable version has grey seats while the photo mode version has red seats. And with the traffic cars not really being intended to be driven or displayed in the autoshow etc they are probably missing that model to be displayed. That also explains why the Integra only has the seats in photo mode.

Some things to note: 1: The traffic cars were drivable in the unmodded game with save editing in the same form. 2: I noticed that some of the traffic cars were probably ported from Forza motorsport (note the pt cruisers Forza aero has the FM logo and the "interior" has you holding a normal size wheel instead of a tiny one. Not to mention the bumper that showed up on the Prius which was in FM) Some of the other cars are like this too.

F class was naturally possible, but it was a glitch that could only be done with the Fiat 595 and by using the Turbo glitch, it downgraded its PI rating to 099 making it F class

The pizza mustang was a promotion where if you downloaded the pizza hut app on your xbox and ordered pizza you could get a download code for the car.

James' hability of speaking like a south texan redneck trucker is truly amazing.

"Focus engine in a KA" Well, Ford did a Focus/ Mondeo/ Mazda 6 engine in a Fiesta once 😂

I'm with you on the topic of racing a common, cheap car vs racing a supercar. My favourite cars to drive in these racing games are usually the stuff below supercars because it's fun to throw them around a corner as fast as they can go, as well as tuning the hell out of them. And with how cheap they are compared to supercars and above, you can experiment with so many different cars that have their own characteristics very easily, very quickly.

E100 Corolla, Ford Expedition, A4 Avant, Dodge Durango were unique traffic car models made for the game, and now they turn player cars to traffic cars

27:20 that was a great deal of what made the old games so great. Gives you a greater grasp of "I made this" instead of "just buy a Ferrari/Lamborghini/Pugani/etc."

Man, I remember FM7 had some traffic cars from FH3 in it. Remember the old Merc C-class was there as well as some other stuff that was traffic.

They were refered as unicorn cars and if they were in the shared club garage you could drive it! In the vanilla xbox 360 game with no exploits!

19:07 I ACTUALLY HAD THAT BUGGED OUT BMW! It was either because game crashed before and now it couldn't load the one that's not broken, or something else. It had weird collision and physics and it was completely undrivable. It almost looks like some kind of unfinished model of BMW without any headlights and a 100% tint glass. It was so weird when I saw it at first time. And no, not on emulator, I actually was playing on my own Xbox 360 with my own (scratched, but at that moment working) disc. Horizon 1 will always be my favorite forza. The vibes where different, drifting at red rock, eagle ridge. Drags at the media center. It was just so freaking good. Plus the storyline was actually fun to follow along. With the wristbands and the street racing vibes... they need to remaster this game. And not screw with the physics or handling at all either. Or at least make it available for purchase again.

Fun fact, all the traffic cars actually had performance data as default even though they could never be used, also as for the mazda miata superlight, thats what was known as a "unicorn car" as they were given out by turn10 in events while the game was still active, i know all this because it was actually possible to mod them into your garage on the 360 by using the horizon modding tool on PC to mess woth your save files, the un named engine at the start of the list for the bus and truck is the ebst option as it actually works properly

Great video, but I did want to give this a quick mention, 1:55, that bug was eventually patched at some point in the games lifespan, like if you go back on the 360 with all the updates, you can't downgrade any car to F class anymore

Man, this mod really did brought back a lot of memories. I think for for the Pizza Hut Mustang, there was a contest for some who ordered a pizza and maybe got a redeem code to get the car or I think someone said it was in a car pack. But since I can mod it with the disc version, I’m more likely to do it and I hope the bus will be a king in the rally expansion.
