I’d understand a patient being pretty angry about their situation, especially towards the staff, because I’ve been angry at the medical staff when I was at a hospital because they were trying to tell me jokes when I effectively fainted because I had pneumonia and a different staff member fucked up putting the IV in me

They're humans, not robots. They make mistakes, and the staff telling you jokes were just trying to calm you down. They were just trying to help man.

To this day I have a horrible fear of needles because my doctor had a brand new nurse do my grade 7 shots. She was absolutely horrible. And ever since I am extremely picky over who can give me shots.

Yeah kinda have to agree here. The game is fun but it does require the player to be able to make fast choices in terms of responses. I do get Jack's type of humor but it doesn't fit every game out there. It sorta works here but at the same time I just wish he was a bit faster in responses.

Man, you think a lot of this is just over the top, but as someone whos been in and out of hospitals for most of their life. some of these characters are dead accurate. There really are people who will treat you that way because youre not a human but a problem to take care of because its a job.

I saw a lot of that during my clinicals. A lot of people just get desensitized and forget that it is a human being they are treating. It made me really sad, but it made me make a promise to myself I would never end up like that. Every human being deserves caring treatment, especially the one's that cannot move or speak.

I've heard it as both flicking and flipping. I've lived in Minnesota, California, Georgia, Colorado. It's possible that it is another dialect thing like Soda/Soda Pop/Pop/Coke. My mom says flicking and not flipping.
