So here's what everyone ( that is a bowler) is thinking. How do you adjust your mental game to a situation (like this oiling "pattern") that just doesn't make sense. I watched you guys and the lanes were not just picky they were board to board. Knowing the scoring pace is low and experiencing that, how do you adjust your mental game so that you don't just throw your hands up?

Packy, I'd love to take a lesson if you're ever around Massachusetts or Vermont. I'm a lefty that swapped to two-handed a few years back after a bad dog bite gave me damage in my thumb, so please let me know if you're ever near here and have time.
The difference in each of your rev rate was pretty apparent here. Fun to watch.

Was this at fire lake bowling center ?
Like how smooth Parker's delivery is. Can barely hear it on release.
i grew up bowling on a hand oiled wood lane house(bug sprayer, lano duster to spread it)....
How many 8-baggers did Keven have? 😂😂 Great Video!

Your channel really inspires me to go further and join a league currently averaging 170 Just difficult to find a league that wont get me banned from highschool sports LOL
Early video: The. Left. Is. Walled. Late video: Some of these hits are *bonkers.*
is this like the peterson classic?
They look like me at league night, except I don't pick up all those spares lol
Kevin Williams you are my favorite bowler on tour right now I would like to meet you in Springfield may 27th and 28th
that looks unbelievably hard....... I can't imagine

It was!
The oil machine at my house has been broken all season and have been bowling on hand oil exclusively. For me the trick is to try and get the ball through the front. When all else fails I can use my storm ice and play straight up 5 when the fronts are completely gone.
No need to be alarmed but how did u leave that 2-6-10🤣🤣🤣. Anyways great bowling Packy and Kevin
Packy should throw his strike ball the same way he threw at the washout in game 2

Never seen so many guys throwing plastic in my life! Was very brutal.

I bowl for fun a few times a year and I usually bowl 150-180 with a house ball I’ve never had my own ball. I want to buy a ball and learn how to spin the ball
If possible could you show your ball layout In an upcoming vid recently I’ve learned my bowling balls aren’t drilled right 😢 so I could use some perspective what a lefty 2 handers pitch’s are

Hand oiled you say, how about oil put on by a mop and five gallon bucket. It happened in 1987 Ohio State Bowling Tournament at Rainbow Lanes in Columbus, toughest conditions I've ever been on.

Been there done that back in the late 60s and 70s. I hand moped the lanes for many years, made for interesting bowling and scores.

it looks a little bit like the badger oil pattern :D

Growing up the 'hand' oiled lanes was all they had! My father managed a bowling center and he oiled them like that every day. You get used to them IF the same person is taking care of the lanes....

How would a ball like the spy do on a condition like this vs the urethane?
Back when I started bowling, the lanes at that alley were hand oiled 90% of the time cuz the machine was always broken.
Wish I get the chance to bowl against you

@@TheHouseBowling Looking forward to the next instalment and you and Keven taking all the prizes?! Good luck!! :D
@notonyourlife7939
Жыл бұрын
Simple... when everyone's in the same boat, there's not much point in getting cranky about it. Without divine intervention, you won't see anybody striking at will on conditions like this.
Bowling is just mind over matter. If you don't mind it doesn't matter.
@TheHouseBowling
Жыл бұрын
agreed!
Haha, hand oiled lanes will definitely separate the men from the boys so to speak. We've had to hand oil at my center when our lane machine was down...so many complaints from my league bowlers, lol. There were a few who read the lanes, adjusted & scored well, but most couldn't figure it out.
This is where Dick Webber will kick your yuppie butts.....break out the oil mop after every game : )
Oh Ethan... I team with him in league today and he is blitzing the pocket with the same shot he 4-9s on... And I promptly take screenshots and send them his way

... And Ryan too?! Oh my poor boys...
I thought that was an app where I could record me bowling a game and winning on an app but at different centers
😃
THAT PRUPLE HAMMER WAS JUST NOT THE PLAY THAT DAY
feel like those ufo spinner bowlers would dominate in hand oiled tourneys since they take the oil out the equation.
