This is awesome as a 230 avg bowler I love to hear stuff like this CONGRATZ and keep going make your spares the strikes will come the difference between 200 avg and 180 is literally just a few spares a night consistency focus on consistency every shot

same! I stared off as a two hand bowler with some BS balls I got off FB Market place and averaged a 147 in my first league. Found his channel for tips and try to mimic everything he does I now average a 199 after a year of going hard!

You bowled so good. After last season and the injury. I’m calling it a come back. Keep it up! Stay on the grind. You’re so GOOD!

The Fast Pitch is under appreciated because the Pitch Black is so good. Cool to see Darren put it in play.

After laying off bowling after the age of 21 I decided to get back in a league 199 average first year. Finding this channel and watching the smooth stroke and helpful tips I now have climbed to 224. Now 61, you figure the layoff time. And just shot my first 300 last year. Great channel

I really hope to meet you one day, Tang. I have a very, very unorthodox way I hold and release the ball. I can't find anyone in my area to help me develop ways to create more revs or change my axis. It's very hard to explain in words, too. Hopefully one day I run into you and we can have a chat!

So we ought to intentionally break the lanes down incorrectly so everyone struggles? Match 2 really depicts to us exactly why we ought to prefer more surface and smoother ball reactions over hockey stick motions.

Question. I see that you do not use any tape on your thumb. I used this weekend storm slow on the bottom of my thumb and medium on the top of my thumb and the tip of my thumb after a couple hours went numb from friction. My guess is that I am holding too tight. But how do I get it so I still have control over the ball so it isn't falling out of my grip and going straight into the gutter ? The ball has been drilled to my finger specs from my local pro shop. I should also mention that I have used the grip tape in the hole. But that feels like 80 grit sandpaper, So I stop using that.

Runner-up on the first tournament back from injury isn't to be discounted. Agreed, it's never the result anyone wants but a fantastic result considering the circumstances. Take the positives, build and see you in the next one. #DTangClan 😎

Runner up is really good. There are alot of good regional/local bowlers at these tournaments as well as pros. Anyone should be absolutely stoked for a first or second here. Since all the people that made the cut could realistically average 270 out.

I think we need a video explaining/ showing how to "properly break down a lane" as you said. That seems impossible.

Good job Darren, hang in there. And why isn't Cortez on the PBA tour? He's a talented kid.
