I clean my laptop externally once a week and I recently repasted my Lenovo legion 5 2021 let me telly u guys it performs even better than it was brand new I think these companies cheap out on thermal paste so changing it after 1 year is must to get full potential of device and I use it on battery conservation mode and its battery is still running great even after 2 yrs I will say its not 100 % in condition but battery backup is still amazing

We normally ignore old devices and always tend to upgrade...I upgraded my Acer Aspire M (Dunno the model number). Just added 256GB SSD, and trust me it has been 2 years, I'm still using it. However, it has old 5th gen intel i5 CPU with no graphic card, so I'm having problems in multitasking and yeah obviously I can't play games XD. I can't believe I managed to use such an old laptop for straight 2 years after upgrade. That's why, never underestimate old generations XD

yooo great but listen i have a 13-14 yr old lenovo laptop intel dual core processor and 2gb ram no graphics card... never upgraded anything and here's the twist i can still do normal multitasking and low end gaming like(minecraft) with playable fps. That's why, never underestimate old generations XD 😂

I'm using my 6 yrs old HP pavilion on direct power supply so it's no big deal for me.

Same maine bhi last year ek hp ka i3 with 8 gb ram liya tha only 3k me 😅. On ni ho raha tha Ghar ake deep cleaning kri nd vo ek baar me on hogyaaa😅. Abhi December me usko use vgera krke 11k me bech dala tha🤣

Just a quick tip never use cleaning solutions like Colin to clean displays it will ruin it . Just use distilled water and if the stains are not going away use a pinch of dish soap

Everything is ok for 10k just use the hardware with extra peripherals

@@MinerTechTipsAs an ECE graduate and a system Engineer @Bluehost let me tell you when you do some graphics intensive work on your system the MOSFETs and Inductors will draw more current same for DRAMs also which will resulted in high heat, which will reduce the performance and longevity of those components.

Same I had Asus rog strix G531GT which had i5 9th gen and 1650 card and 8gb ram and 60hz after 6-7 months it started heating a lot that my temps on idle on low mode it was touching 95*C so I sold it for half the price sadly and upgraded to Gaming pc and now I can throw any effect it handles great so remember if u want a laptop for editing mainly adobe and c4d or blender then straight away get a pc !!! dont waste money on laptops since they last max 1.5-3 years

Basically he got a steal deal. 10k for laptop and another 10k for repairs. Even tho this laptop got outdated specs, this laptop is very much better than the Celeron laptop's which got like 4gb ram running windows 11, which is really painful to use.

No problem in using collin as it is diluted.if you use alcohol directly to clean the screen, it may cause the surface to lose the top coat.

don't worry isopropyl alcohol is safe, what is not safe is detergent, collin and acetone (nail polish remover). DO NOT use acetone ever, it will make sure your display is glossier than before

Main abhi bhi 9 saal purana laptop use kar Raha hu battery dead, keyboard kharab , no cooling fan , still chal Raha hai

New battery , some cleaning and maybe a change of thermal paste this would be back in shape getting these specs in 10k is rare to find i understand the cleaning is most difficult task on this laptop atleast by yourself better to give to a repair shop

I bought an used Alienware area 51m for 30k which has rtx2080 and also the quality of Alienware is just amazing.

Yes it is good and if you are a CS student it is better i guess cuz the graphics card will be fully supported for hackintoshing so you can easily run macos and learn Swift Language which is very good for future

Laptop Hackinthoshing is even not recommended by Opencore but i didn't said it's not possible. What will he do if USB mapping, Wifi Bluetooth or Sleep doesn't work, will you fix it even it is not fixed by any boot argument or kext? Don't feel superior
