I BOUGHT THESE SPORTS CARDS FOR $10!

Спорт

Last night I picked up a small collection of sports cards off of Facebook Marketplace for only $10! Let's see if we can uncover any possible gems or big name rookie cards inside.

Dang, Jon! This may be the most epic haul you ever showcased in terms of variety and randomness. All of that for just $10, too! That lady must be stuck in the 80s the way she priced her stiff, haha. Definitely better in your collection than in a dumpster somewhere. Congrats, man! Appreciate the share!

Ghetto and grinding are how TPIA gets it done! Totally worth the purchase. When you tipped that box over I thought for sure a pile of dirt, dust and pubes would fall out. Lol

C'mon man, 10 cents for that 91-92 Pro Set Bure "rookie"?? lol, I get it - 91-92 Pro Set is the definition of "junk wax" but it's still a Bure rookie... I sell the Pro Set's regularly at shows for $2 each, and $3 for the Pro Set Canadian. Also, (not to get too pedantic) but like a lot of cards issued in the early 90's - some don't consider that Bure's "rookie" (I do, it's one of them - and it's printed on the card). Some consider his 90-91 Upper Deck to be his "true rookie" - I don't, but it's certainly one of his most desirable, hence more valuable - especially the more scarce 90-91 UD hologram variations that exist.. Actually, Bure's Upper Deck "baseball" and "carrots" hologram variations can fetch some decent money - I've sold them for $50 each - so keep a lookout for those at shows because you can find them in the bargain boxes for a couple of bucks each, and they sell quite well depending on the demographic.. Since I'm ranting about junk wax and adding details that few care about - let me add that it kinda sucks that some of the best players in the history of their respective sports have rookie cards in the junk wax era. I mean it's a shame you can find them mixed in the "bargain bins" along side draft busts, common serial numbered cards, common relics and no name auto's... smh... Also, the Hasek is a $3-5 card but obviously you can find both the Bure and Hasek in $1 bargain bins if you have the time to dig.
