The small statue with the silver colored spheres is a miniature of the Atomium in Brussels (Belgium). It was built for the World Expo in 1958 and was renovated between 2004 and 2006. Today it is an art center and the international symbol of Brussels (in Belgium).🙋🏼

I actually had a doll trunk just like that ( but in pink) when I was little in the early 1960's!!! The interior was exactly the same and you hung the doll clothes on miniature hangers on the little bar at the top and stored accessories in the drawer at the bottom. Watching your videos, I can't believe how many things I recognize from my own life and from cherished items that I have inherited! It's like strolling down memory lane. Love ya!!!

Be that easier if you pick the things up you see now and each day you pick up you go to the goodwills take it to your new house so that way you don't have to take it to the old house and then have to pack it up to move back over to the new house just drop it off at the new house and that way we already over there so you don't have to move it

The cost of shipping to Wales would be high I think. I would love to get some Mickey Mouse items for my non verbal autistic grandson Jac. He’s 16 in December,he absolutely LOVES Mickey. Has done since he was very young, An item I wouldn’t find in the UK. I have bought him quite a few from eBay in the past. I love going virtual shopping with you. You are so informative. And of course, I always have to go test my shopping knowledge at our thrift stores in Ohio! I'm not a reseller and have no desire to be, but if I ever come across a Glassy Baby, you better believe I'll snatch it! I was watching an episode of a British tv show a few years ago and they were using their butter dish upside down. Unless it was made like that. I don't know, but I was hooked, since we like to leave our butter on the counter. So I found a big glass one with a flat top that holds two sticks and we love it. Almost like a small glass covered loaf pan.

I was lucky twice last month at Goodwill. I found a Kate Spade bag for $69 normally close to $400. I don’t think it ever been used and it had the logo on it out of the metal not the embossed stamp. Then I found a Brighton bag for $49. I’m not sure what that retails for but I had a good run on purses last month.

That blanc de chine Kuan Yin was also broken on her right side. There is a “ribbon” over both shoulders that is almost always broken on one side or the other. I have had to leave them behind before because of that, even though I used to collect Kuan Yins.

That she'll Shape purse would have been great for someone who likes to"disneybound". They make a outfit based around a Disney character for their day in the parks.very little mermaid !

I will go onto my local Goodwill store once in a while and sometimes I don’t find anything, but other times I find more than I need or want. And, I am not even a reseller. I usually buy small decorative items And I like the dripping scars or a tapestry on a railing.

Danni...even where we had 2 Goodwills,...and closed one...pickings were slim...but now...with the group here,,,I think I can find what I need for personal and at least get set up to pay for my frills one day...learning something you can do when need arises is priceless as well as just having pure grateful fun...I lived with personal needs more and more by thrift stores and garage sales in Oregon before moving back to state of origin and you know how good it is there,,,but LV is the cheapest plane from here...in inland NW and I want to go and thrift...lol..my idea of a vacation...a Limo to thrift places in Vegas,,,LOL...thanks again for everything and congrats on finds,,,one day I am going to be a buyer from a few here I just LOVE. Some nice finds, the doll trunk brings back some memories as my sisters and I had a similar one as children. Perhaps the word you were looking for - as far as the blue glass vase - is symmetry? It was still rather pretty. Hope all is going well with your move.

The back brace is called TLSO and you are correct there are molded to a specific pt. It actually should be thrown away or returned to back ortho office to be destroyed.
