I can remember back in 1991-ish, our local grocery store stocked baseball cards. And they just happened to have one last rack pack of 89 Donruss. Being the poor kid with the family who wouldnt buy him cards, I remember hiding that pack in behind all the other cards as deep down as I could get them and then managed to remember exactly where I had placed it for about a week afterwards until I could scrounge up the $1.25 or so that the thing cost. Went back a week later, dug it out, and boom.. Ken Griffey Jr. Rated Rookie. I remember jumping up and down in the parking lot as I walked back to the car with my dad. 9 years old at the time and a memory that I will keep forever.

@@moesyzslak2939 Sadly I no longer have it. The only card I have from that part of my life was actually the very first card I ever owned. It was a 1986 Topps Rickey Henderson All Star card that my dad bought for me at a yard sale for like 50 cents in 1989-ish. I went through the whole teenage thing and got rid of all my cards but somehow, someway he got his hands on that card and kept it hidden from me lol thankfully! We found it in a shoebox along with his old coins after he passed away.

I did the same thing... but it was 25 years earlier, and the card on the back of the rack pack was Henry Aaron, #1 Topps 1974.
that long pause scared me 16:32

Man as a Frank Thomas collector that 1992 Stadium Club pack would've made my year. Don't suppose you'd wanna sell them? I don't have either one of those cards. Great video Erik!
I love how creative this idea was! Might have to try it for myself
I remember when I was 8 my dad handed me a bunch of raw 89 topps cards after I was showing interest in collecting by this point I had gotten a ton of football cards never dabbled in baseball and I thought he was gifting me some ancient heirloom. Anyways 20 years old now. still have all the 89 topps he handed down. Probably one of my favorite sets for that reason alone. Your channel is freaking sweet man. Cheers from California!
Cool video! I like the concept of the random pack purchase. Reminds me of your pharmacy box vids, which I always enjoy. Keep up the great work, Jabs! Oh, and the last one was definitely the best.
The 1990 Score "Bo Knows" card #697 is the best card of all time. It just says "BO" on the back in a purple B and a black O. I don't care how many they made, priceless to me!
Love the wide variety of things you used to open the pack! but a great nostalgic trip!
Love the variety of breaks you put out !! Always looking forward to see what's next 👍
You got me started on collecting cards again , appreciate the video. Have a good week and good luck on the next break.
Definitely brings back memories. I remember the price of the Stadium Club was through the roof back then, something like $10 a pack. I thought then the hobby was going crazy. Thanks Erik.
Great video! Always pondered on buying those lots. May try one now. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!!
I like you drop baseball card Knowledge when you open these older packs. You make it more interesting.
Man you come up with some great video ideas keep the great variety
Awesome vid! Keep em coming!
Your videos got me back into card collecting. Love the videos and wish you all the best.
The grind babyy! Keep it up homie
Fun video. Love the Randy Johnson rookie. I still always pick those up when I see a good deal on them.
Great idea for a video! Really enjoyed watching the opening of these products from ebay.
Awesome idea Erik! Love the video as always! Very informative. #'s 4 & 5 were the best. And I'd agree #5 was the best of all. Some good packs but bonus cards of Stars & HoFers was sweet! Thanks for sharing!!!
That made my day with the leaf, David Justice pack! My hometown team hero!
Appreciate all the work that you put into your channel. Thanks!
Cool seeing old packs again. Thanks Jabs!
Great vid! I love the old wax pack openings! Need more Topps!!
Thanks for doing this. I always wonder about these and I appreciate you showing us what they are.
Always great vids!
Those were so cool packs, thank you so much for the awesome video!
last one was also my favorite. awesome when they add bonuses like that
That last pack was a nice touch. I love opening up old wax packs with my son. Not much value, but that's kinda what you're looking for when you have a 4 year old opening them lol. He's a huge fan of yours as well. Thanks for all you do.
Nice vid. Have always wondered what kind of packs come in these. Figured it was all junk wax, but still fun to rip them open for cheap.
“Cheating Husband’s Old Sports Card Collection” were always my favorite KZread listings.
even if it's garbage wax, it's still fun to rip open packs from childhood! thanks for sharing!

Always run across these things for sale ... nice you pulled the trigger for us. Last seller was the best with the bonus stuff.
Wow does this this rip bring back the memories. Fun break as always Erik!
Great video concept!
Thanks for sharing this. It's nice to see what all these Ebay lots actually are.

Always wondered about lots like these. Thanks for showing what they can be like
I always thought about buying these lots. thanks for the video!
The 90 Upper Deck was what got me back into collecting. I love the clean design.
Thanks for doing this so everyone cad see what you get and decide if they want to buy one!!
Awesome unboxing...love the vids
Thanks for the videos!
I just bought s box of 92 topps at my local flea market. Had a blast opening. I still enjoy opening packs from my childhood.
#5 was my favorite by far. Awesome video 👌
Great video! Always figured those mystery bags would be filled with junk wax, funny how it was a lot from your list of worst sets.
Awesome video Erik!
All those old packs definitely take me back to being a kid!
This is the best video yet this week to help my ebay store. Now I could throw in and sell some 1990 cards in a lot for $5. You are right, need more topps
I was at the 1994 Home Run Derby as well. That ball that Frank Thomas hit to left center that hit the facade of the upper deck is still the longest ball I've ever seen hit in person, an estimated 519 feet. I remember it like it was yesterday, because Thomas was (still is) my favorite player and the ball hit the Will Clark banner (I went to the derby with my sister's boyfriend at the time) and Will Clark was his favorite player, so we thought that was cool and ironic.
Love these videos. It’s interesting to see what people sell online. Keep up the good work
Hey thanks for giving me the shout out now I have 48 subs and hope your daughter enjoyed those cards
Wow!!! I would have loved that pack with 3 dave justice cards!! Amazing!!
fun video. Love the Dave Justice x3
Nice 👍 to see others try the lots on eBay
Congrats on the 30k subs
I loved collecting Gary Sheffield. He was my main target on 89 products next to Griffey of course.
Those upper deck packs were always a pain, having to momove them upside down everytime. Cool video
Definitely iike rhe 5th one for better cards. That was a great idea for a video Erik. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Awesome video!!
Great idea to check out these others lots to see what is out there and if is worth to buy.
There’s always the same packs in those Random Packs auctions
Nice pick ups Jabs! 👌
cool concept for a video. Was definitely an walk down memory lane.
Definitely #5! Awesome video.
Great information video 👍
Love opening older packs!!
love the channel!
I really need to learn how to work eBay. Great vid
Awesome video Eric
I've thought about buying these. Thanks!
Always wondered about those lots, see them all the time on my searches and yup they are exactly what I thought they would be.
18:20 “How about some 92 Topps; My brother absolutely HATES 92 Topps...” LOL BY THE WAY, you could use a pen light for the scratch off card. Go in pitch black room and hold light behind card. The scratch off becomes less evasive and a bit see through. I literally had a tiny lightbulb penlight, would go in a dark closet and figure out the correct ones to scratch. I won a lot of gold cards that way. I think you should try it, and scratch a winner!! Thanks for the entertaining video.
Getting ready my first FMF!
Great video fella
Great video. I liked #5
Good stuff here. I like this idea
Great video!
Nice Johnson RC. Thanks Erik.
Great variety of packs!!
Liked the last deal the best out of the 5... and probably the only one I would purchase. Great vid BTW.
Listening to you open packs is my favourite
I actually really like the simple design on the 1992 Fleer cards with the easily readable player names in block letters on a light green background and the team logo is above that. In my opinion that design is one of the best looking ones of the 1990s card designs.
That Randy Johnson RC was a nice find!
Keep up the awesome card vids
Number 5 was the best one to me. Thanks for sharin.
Great video. Need the packs.
#5 is the best. good video!
Very nice last lot. Extras made up for the packs.
I remember I had a randy johnson on the reds card that I was soo proud of...only to find out it wasn't the same guy lol
I collect Dave Justice, that was an awesome pack!
Another good video!
number 5 was definetly my favorite set of cards too.
Thanks for the insider look. I'll be laying off this stuff... better to continue the hunt for $5 or $6 boxes of junk and open an entire box. Or maybe a pharmacy box with newer cards available.
I might have to try this one day. # 5 was the best in my opinion. "always nice to get a bonus. " lol
The excitement of opening older cards. There's nothing better
Great video, thanks
Cool bonus pack at end
Always wanted to buy one but I figured I would get CRAP! This video confirms that. The best pack in my opinion was that Stadium Club. Those Thomas cards are HOT! Well were hot. Still looking for my $5 box of cards but I never find them. You must be in a hot zone since Topps was located in PA. I'll have to take a look at that 5th package! That was a good value!
I love those 87 Topps! I wish I could find some wax boxes locally but may give in and buy from bbce.
