I Bought the CHEAPEST Grapple I Could Find for a Compact Tractor | IronCraft 48"

In this video I review an IronCraft 48" Grapple Rake. This is the most affordable grapple I could find for a Compact Tractor. I put the IronCraft Grapple on a Kubota L2501 and was able to lift some heavy loads.
IronCraft recently went through a name change so you may already have a similar grapple branded as "Titan Implement". Is the same company, quality; still made in America. A Titan Implement 48" Grapple Rake should be nearly identical to this unit.
This has proven to be a affordable grapple for a compact tractor that has lived up to our needs on day 1. Consider subscribing to our channel to see how days 2-1000 pan out with this grapple.
I walk though examples of how this grapple can move various size logs and brush piles using our IronCraft 48" grapple and Kubota L2501 Compact Tractor.
Thanks for watching!

I have teir root grapple. Smaller throat, but a bit heavier. Love it!

If I may make one suggestion, you should look into a grill guard. There is a whole lot of expensive stuff right up front that is just waiting to drain your checking account. I got mine from Zooks Welding in Fremont, Ohio. I found out about them from a you tube friend, Pheasant Lane Farm. Robert from Pheasant Lane Farm was a police officer that was nearly killed in the line of duty. Incredible story. For getting my grill guard from Zooks Welding, Robert gifted me a laser cut emblem that promotes my channel and bolts right to the guard. Makes my grill guard all the more special. Great job on the video and congrats on the grapple. I am quite sure you will never be sorry.

A grill guard and their filter guards are on my short list! It is awful precarious in the woods at times...

At my work place, we just had a branch / limb get into the grill of our Kubota L45. Wasn't even leaking coolant. The parts alone were $3k.

@Shookmeister highly vulnerable! We'll bump the brush guard up on our to-get list!

Messicks makes one that fits on pretty easy and does a nice job.

Suggestion would be to replace those fully threaded bolts with shank bolts. That would prevent the thread from chewing up the hinges or vice versa. They do make shank bolts with grease Zerks.

Thanks, Tony. Seems like it. Grapple hasn't left the tractor since I brought her home!

Me too and my grapple dosnt have fittings either. A bit of play in those pins dosnt make a difference. Slathering it in grease will not really do anything but make it seam like you did something.

You really dont need grease fittings on a grapple pivot like that. It's a homeowner grade unit and also works at low speed with minimal use and pressure.

I'm a homeowner-grade type of guy. It squeaks already; I'm going to slather it in grease anyways.

I think the value of grease here is to reduce rust. I personally decided to use marine grade grease on my tractor since I live it outside. The dealer used grease disappeared after it first rain.

You have a good tractor ,brush cutter, stump-grinder, wood-chipper & a few other "Good Implements". ...But that "gimppy-grapple " is DANGEROUS ( because of ZERO SERATIONS-POINTS on the grabber action & needs Extreme clamping to even precariously hold the load). For the price @ 1600$ you got "hosed".... worst one l have ever seen; almost like a piece of JUNK. I know & have looked at "brand-new" in Person ( some made in USA ) for the same money & WAY BETTER QUALITY &FEATURES. No sense in Suffering for such deplorable low quality for that price. It is "maybe" worth 800 bucks. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

@@Academy_Farm, I would disagree with that. I have used my grapple a whole bunch over the summer and have found it to be very well built and it has even exceeded my expectations. Mine is very similar to yours. The difference in the two of ours is that mine does have teeth for biting . They have limits but they make our work a lot easier. Thanks for the video.
