THE 636 is one of the best looking bikes ever produced. After all these years it still hasn’t aged

MY OPINION: keep that bike for display. The amount of history between the bike and your channel makes that bike even more special. That bike is a true piece of art man

I'm in the exact same boat but with a 2006 636, I *loved* my 636 but it wasn't viable to keep it after the amount of repair bills that it kept racking up. Someday, somehow I'll get another one of those lovely machines. Nothing beats the high redline, screaming sound & extra bit of torque that lovely 636 gives.

its actually interesting to listen too you talk about the history of chicago. I have never been that into history, but you make it cool.

My guy!! Congratulations!!! I had a smile on my face from how exited you are about it, the entire video. My suggestion is same as a table top plexi case, but replacing the counter top at the shop. Imagine a customer comes in and you're doing business with the bike between y'all. Best place to display it in my opinion.

Love your videos Brian, i started watching you in early 2021, during a stint in Q-Town (Deployed during Covid), and because of you i created a whole list of places to go to on my bike around where i live just to get out and ride and try out the food at local businesses and show them some love. The hood eats series changed my live when i was going through a rough patch (getting a divorce, active duty AF, 100% custody of my 2 amazing kids, and getting thrown on another deployment (#7)). keep bring the videos and the good content, you dont know how much you can help someone in need. Damn this makes me miss my 636 I bought it straight out of the box 04 it was blue. I looped it doing wheelies and it ended up totaled. :( It was the most fun I ever had when I owned it for 2 years.

@@yousef3375 lol I was 22 and looped it going like 80 I slid and the bike tumbled so hard the front end was hanging from the mirror on a power line. I cracked my tailbone and had some rocks pulled out my elbow but I was fine. but the 2 years I had it was the greatest bike I owned.

I've got an 05 f4i mostly stock minus signals and rear signal delete and muffler. Love how it's a retro bike practically now. My older brother bought it in 2008 and I always thought it was the coolest thing ever. Now it's mine. Taking good care of it and never getting rid of it.

Love to see a guy get his dream bike. I managed to pick up a 1991 cbr250rr which has been a dream bike since I was a kid, with every intention of putting it away but I just couldn't help myself. Been dailying it for a while now

just picked up a wrecked 2017 636. SOOO excited. not a stunt guy. but finally getting that sorta power is gonna be lit (3rd bike, first 2 were a cruiser and a cbr500)

I would love to see you take this bike out occasionally on more laid back cruises/ vlogs. It would be fun to have a mix. But, it's yours to do with what you want. Congratulations!

That's the bike that truly got me into bikes.... I'd take it out as a Sunday bike or something.... Just put low miles on it.... But I'd also keep it stock. My first bike was an 05 ZX6R in Kawi Green (obvs).... Got it in mid 06 as an NOS model.... Went out of town for work in the morning with my boss and coworkers at 19 and came back with a brand new bike 😂😂😂 was a great day. Sold a couple cars, missed the only category F5 in Canadian history by mere minutes and bought my first bike all in the same day 😎. Congrats on the bike Brian 👏🏻

Nice find! I see a few non OEM bolts that would bother me personally, especially since your really after the OEM original look. I would spend a couple dollars and get the correct OEM bolts. Also that color and year has a spot in my heart, because my very first stunt bike I built in 2006 started off as pretty minty stock 2003 636 in silver that I bought used.

Bryan I have a friend that has a completely stock 2001 Honda 1000R RVT and his is just like yours it’s none stock just a master piece of a bike and he rides his every once in awhile.

Yup....that's one of the best bikes Kawi ever made. It got over shadowed buy the subsequent model with the underseat exhaust phase. Spent lots of time on the original back in my college days. Solid bike for sure.

I love the Dock at Montrose Beach!!! It's good beach bar food and the vibe is hard to beat for beach bar without getting on a plane. Sure other places along the lake are more popular on instagram, but the dock has good parking for groms and motorcycles too that puts it on the top of my list.
