Honestly I've never had any issues with DI. I love the dresses I've gotten from it and I've had very fast shipping. My only issue is that if you're in Australia, you're still forced to pay a ton of shipping and are only given express shipping. Also none of their codes work, so I can never get discounts.

@@mellrorabbit First dress was a few weeks, one took about 6 months but they also previously stated on the page for the dress that it was going to take that long. It depends on their processing time for the dresses.

The processing time is long because most of the items are preorders, so after you brought them from DL, they would have to place the order from the actual Taobao store. And the typical factory process is between 1 month - 4 months after the closing of the preorder period. For convenience, DL puts processing time on the page when it includes the factory process for the dresses. When you order from DL, unless the Taobao store has the dress in stock, you are expected to wait months for preorder items. I am only commenting on this because most people are unaware of how most of the lolita dresses that are selling on Taobao work. (preorder - make the dresses - final payment - ship to shipping faculty - arrived at your country - local shipping service to your address)

They still add 6 month processing to items that are totally not pre-orders though lol They are a disaster 😅

I asked my mom for a sweater for my birthday, and a month later it told me it’s out of stock. It told me to choose another item so I chose a dress around the same time. Turns out the sweater was in stock all along and it was sent over and not the dress! And that dress was limited! *Fun!*

Maybe I DIDN'T hallucinate getting a blouse, headdress, and stockings to go with the shoes I preordered in January, after all. Cuz I only ever got the shoes.

I've also found that some times they name the colorways wrong, which actually meant I was sent the wrong dress. Returning it and exchanging for the right color was more of a hassle than it should have been. I won't say never buy from the site because it is really handy sometimes, just be very very careful when you do, take advantage of sale events, and cross reference with other resellers to get the best deals.

I had a really great experience ordering from them the first time. The 2nd time, my malware on my computer flagged the site, so I decided not to submit my personal info. I was really sad because I had done a whole video of around my first haul praising them but hadn't uploaded it yet. I emailed them to let them know, but they never replied back to me. The things I got I really enjoy, so I was really bummed.

@@BeguruTeam it flagged as a gateway trojan when going from my cart to the checkout page. If you want, you can download malwarebytes (there's a free option) and just run a scan. I use it in addition to my other virus scan. It didn't happen to me the first time, so someone probably just snuck into their payment gateway while I was checking out the second time. I'm sure it's not their fault, I'm kinda miffed that they didn't even bother to reply to me since I spent a pretty penny there and was trying to order again. Like, wouldn't they want me to order again?

I sent them an Instagram note on Jan 1 and got an auto reply (we'll get back to you asap) but that was it. I had tried to place the order the day before, so Dec 31st. I had Christmas money to spend. lol

I’m so tired of having to copy-paste my “why DI is a piece of crap” speech on to fb multiple times a day. They have been sketch as hell since the beginning of time and that’s not even including all the overpricing and customer service issues 😩

@@rabbitlove1785 honestly I’d really recommend looking into a shopping service. I use yoybuy but there are a ton of others. They are super easy you just copy and paste the link of the item you want to buy and they do the rest for you. Save yourself the headache of dealing with resellers, and it’s way cheaper so in the end, you have more money to buy more stuff.

Maybe I got lucky, but with my 3 orders, I haven't had a problem yet. Customer service has been very responsive and helpful too. Shipping is quite expensive, I always wait for the free shipping sales. Also, I don't pick those really cheap dresses. Because in the end, you get what you pay for.

I didn’t have the best experience with them. I placed my first order with them for a Tomie JSK. I had to message them to ask when the order would be shipped since it had been past the 4 weeks processing time. They shipped it out a few hours later. It felt like I reminded them about my order... Then, I paid $35 for expedited shipping and it was sent standard. A worker messaged me on Twitter and admitted they accidentally made a mistake and to contact customer service. I emailed customer service and told them that it was sent wrong and the same representative kept answering all my questions. I asked why was it sent this way and they just replied with my tracking number. I also sent another email asking how long the order should get to me. Again, they just talked about my tracking number... It took 5+ emails to finally get a partial refund for shipping. I really just wanted wanted to speak to someone different after the first couple emails, because every email I never got a clear answer.

I’ve had good luck with DI, but yeah, it takes FOR EV RRR. The dresses I’ve bought have been generally good, but you can certainly feel the quality difference between them and brand. They do tend to look a bit better than they feel, so there’s always a little disappointment when you see the quality, but once I get it on and look at it, I like it better.

I ordered my first dress from Devilinspired but it turns out it was out of stock. I found out a month later they had emailed me and got refunded in store credit, now I just have $80 of DI store credit and I don't know what to do with it.

I loved the whale dress and the bow and lace puffs definitely match the dress you were wearing in the first part of the video I was so excited for today bc I love your videos and I was waiting for you to post like every other Friday

I was actually sent a different hat than the one I ordered, but I didn't do anything about it because I liked the one I got better lmao. I haven't had any problems with them otherwise, but I didn't realize their shipping took longer than other resellers, so I probably won't order from them outside of sales anymore.

Yeah, so DI is a reseller. So the dress you bought wasn't manufactured by DI, they're just a retail channel. So quality varies on DI and other resellers depending on what lolita brand you buy from! Hope this helps :)

I’ve bought from Devilinspired once before, I got just a petticoat and blouse and everything went quite well! I have another order from them on it’s way so I’m hoping all goes smoothly for that as it’s quite a large order. I probably wouldn’t send a newbie in their direction though as going off of mine and others experiences they do seem to be quite unpredictable and it’d be better for someone new in the fashion to have as little issues as possible.

Wow all of these comments are worrying me! I haven't ordered anything yet, but I have a huge wishlist of things on DI that I love and I haven't seen on other websites. Should I try to order from them and see how it goes? Or just look somewhere else?

Crazy how DI have so much mix review I was hoping that I could support them but never got my order which was told that it was deliver and gave me back in forth with merchant and courier it was horrible experience.... but I feel like most people get sponsor by time seem always being taking care of us so yea never be ordering from them.

2 month ago and was so called delivered about 2 weeks ago I believe I got someone else order which was doorbell camera .... the name was someone else but same address and floor which was odd not sure was from the courier that suppose delivered from devil inspired as I kept email about issue and they tell me contact courier which was annoying because they kept telling contact merchant it was very agonizing. I was really trying be hopeful to get these pair of cute shoes because the shipping process was fast. When I ask about refund they just dismiss it and tell me contact courier... but yea never heard of pcf and they never delivered. I contact my card company so got refund because it just seem shady honestly. Plus I hear a lot of people always get wrong order or wrong dress a lot from them which I feel they purposely do.

I just checked the tracking info from this parcel, but it doesn't say which city it was originally sent from (the first update is which sorting facility it was sent to, which is the sorting facility in Shanghai), and unfortunately, I threw out the packaging and can't remember where it said it was from. I'm sure you've already contacted their customer service, but maybe something else you could do is contact some influencers they're in collaboration with, such as LovelyLor, and see if someone is able to get you guys in contact. I really wish I could help more, and I'll do some digging on my end to see if anyone can recall where they're located at. Please keep us all updated on what happens. I'm so sorry this happened to your business.

Unfortunately, all those resellers never wanted to share their business names with us, my manufacture can't distinguish if they are local resell stores or online websites, which really sucks. Because many of our orders will be delivered after the factory production is completed, there are various delays, such as substandard product quality, factory shutdown, etc. If there are multiple goods, it can be required to deliver in batches.

There's a dress I found on their website that I really want but I can't find it on any trustworthy websites. Is there a way to figure out where the image of the dresses originated?

Yes! There are a couple different ways. I would download the Taobao app and then use their reverse image search function to upload a picture of the dress. Then Taobao will automatically find that image and the corresponding listings. Since Taobao can be hard to navigate, you can also upload the picture of the dress to What’s this Dress? Lolita Fashion on FB. I use that group all the time to find out info on my dresses! They are beyond helpful and informative

Been seeing awesome stuff on DI for ages but always been unsure about bits so thanks for doing this! One of my dream outfits is on DI to but thankfully found the original taoboa seller which I'll probably order from eventually

Thank you and the other comments for the warning! I was about to buy items worth betwen 385-685$, and since a lot of my live will change I need to be a bit more careful with money. So hearing/reading all the stuff that's going on is a fat no for me. If I use so much money it should be a website that's trustworthy. Using a SS would be your best bet (my lovely friend Morimademoiselle has a great tutorial on YT) and the cheapest, but using Taobao could be intimidating for someone who is a newbie. Personally, I buy a lot of Lace Market (second hand site) and Clobba Online (their customer service is out of this world). You can also check out Lolita Wardrobe or My Lolita Dress (know that MLD does have some issues with items being out of stock and not updating their site), if you're more comfortable using a reseller. You can also look at the Big Sisters of Lolita Facebook Group for more advice. This question comes up pretty frequently, and there's loads of wonderful advice on the topic.

I bought my first ouji coord from devilinspired (I've been interested in lolita/ouji fashion for so long but just started to buy clothes) and I had no problem, though the processing was really long, I did get a pre-order set so it might be why. I ordered again from them but now I'm scared since it's a way bigger order and it's already been two months 😖

Hopefully it won't be lost in the mail but there isn't a way of knowing atm. I'm not sure if I am able to get a refund or not because its been longer than 30 days so I know for sure I can't do it through paypal, I have to look at DI's terms again. But yeah, hopefully it works out ^^;

I have the same exact ms.sox bowknot socks and i really like them, i think they're really good cheap socks so i wouldn't expect them to last years but they haven't ripped or torn since i got mine last year (around july or so ) but they do discolor very easily. I'm not the biggest fan of resellers but I do also understand that taobao takes a long time and isn't the easiest to shop from, my friend loves devilinspired and their customer service so to each their own i guess.

I ordered on their 11/11 sale and my items have still not been shipped out because they are apparently waiting on one more item from another store and I had to pry that information from them. After I get my package I juat will shop directly through taobao from now on

LaceMarket or through your local comm and FB groups if you want to buy secondhand. If you're confident with Taobao, I would just use a SS. If you want a reseller, I would use Clobba Online, GlitzyWonderland, 42 Lolita, My Lolita Dress, or Lolita Wardrobe. If you're a beginner, definitely check out Bodyline, too, since they sell dresses up to a 4L for only $10 USD on sale :)

Hi there! Reliable lolita resellers are: DevilInspired (However, very overpriced), GlitzyWonderland, Clobba Online, My Lolita Dress, Lolita Wardrobe, and Loligals (AliExpress storefront). Lolita Show and Lolita Wonderland are both Milanoo storefronts. They are scams. You will receive a replica or something of poor quality if you buy from these sites. I would also recommend looking at LaceMarket or in your local comm for beginning pieces :)

Hi there, I don't know the conversion off the top of my head, but most brands have a size chart for their shoes. Generally, they don't come in half sizes, so if you're unsure, size up. A lot of lolita shoes run small, so I try to find reviews for shoe brands before I buy so I know how they fit

I don’t own anything by either brand tbh so I am not the best person to ask on this! I have heard some horror stories about Soufflé Song having very long wait times and their quality dropping. I haven’t ordered from them, so I can’t confirm

I had ordered a wig and they gave me the wrong one. Fortunately I was going to order that one too

i checked out the site bc they had something i wanted cheaper than it is on another site, but i was a bit iffy about it so i looked for unsponsored reviews and that's how i found this video. Then i thought well ok, i just want to see how much shipping is, went to my cart to checkout and suddenly my anti-virus notified me that it detected a trojan on the site and successfully blocked it from downloading 😭 yeah i'll definitely pass lol and thanks for the review!

Yeah, one of my friends (who actually commented her story on this post) experienced the same thing where DI was flagged by her security app! It's really scary. Thankfully, my info was safe and I don't know anyone personally who has had their information stolen, but it's always good to be cautious and to make sure you're not at risk

@@BeguruTeam update! i just received my first order, a petticoat, and it’s basically perfect except for the fact that the packaging was slashed open for some reason! product is in great condition though still waiting for the other order!

I've placed a number of orders with DI and only had one issue where they sent me the wrong KC. They said they'd refund me partially and send me the new one... it's been months and no new KC but I did get the partial refund (admittedly it took a while). I also have the same dress you ordered from Freesia Tale, mine has no stains but a waist tie button broke (in fairness I think I was tugging it a bit hard because I wasn't used to dresses with removeable waist ties but I don't think it was THAT hard). I think it's fine for the price since it's pretty cheap but it's definitely not AP lol.

i ordered from them in october and received it in march (without registration) my last order is still in process... and now i see so many video about DI is worrisome 🙄 but this time i created an account on there website well, im always unsure, why i have to submit my phone number and now i have a massage on my phone, saying, i have to confirm some data for my order ID (not even close to the ID i have on the webside) i just ignore this massage, because it just simply looks like scam to me and see what will happen

If you are looking to buy 2nd hand, I would say LaceMarket is the most user friendly and easiest. You can filter through categories for your size, location, etc. and it’s a great way to get brand cheap. If you want a reseller, I have 2 favorites! I love Clobba Online since their customer service is truly amazing and goes above and beyond. I also really like 42Lolita since their markups are super reasonable in comparison to other resellers. Like, they are probably the most affordable reseller next to Loligals. 42Lolita also has really wonderful customer service. I honestly love 42Lolita so much, I started collaborating with them haha, so full disclosure I do have a discount code for them now (I_FORGOT_REALITY). If you want a Shopping Service, I’m afraid I am not the person to ask. I have only used Chinese Lolita Updates. My cousin absolutely loves them and they are super simple to use since they operate through FaceBook Messenger. I am not familiar with other SSs tho!

I'll probably make a video on this topic in specific, but there are a lot of awesome stores. If you're tech savvy, you can order directly from the brands you like on TaoBao using a Shopping Service. Otherwise, you can purchase the same brands at a mark up through a reseller. Resellers I personally like and use are Clobba Online and My Lolita Dress. However, there's also Lolita Wardrobe and Glitzy Wonderland. If you want to stick to a more sustainable route, I personally buy a lot secondhand, either off of members in my own community or through LaceMarket (LM also protects against buying replicas). You can also buy lolita secondhand on Mercari and Depop but it can be a lot trickier to find real pieces. And then if you're just starting off, Bodyline is also an awesome place to buy stuff. They have some JSKs that are only $10 and they're awesome (I bought a few of them and can confirm it's great quality considering the price). Overall, if you're interested in starting the fashion, definitely check out Big Sisters of Lolita Fashion on FB for more help!

Were any of your pieces custom made? That could be why. Otherwise, I would try to contact their customer service. Black Friday was quite a while ago so that does sound a bit concerning and it wouldn’t hurt to email them with an inquiry. Have you received any updates at all about your package?

I am not a good person to ask about wigs haha I get most of mine off of eBay 😅 If you want high quality then definitely check out Five Wits Wigs. Otherwise buying off of AliExpress, eBay, Amazon, can be a huge gamble so be sure to check the reviews very carefully.

I'm still a beginner, but when i shop for any Lolita fashion online. I'm just gonna try to see what i would and just go with flow.?3😌😌😌😌😌

I basically have reviews for every lolita reseller (and even a SS) in my review playlist ☺️ So if you want an in-depth review on certain websites, I would use that. Basically safe sites are: - LaceMarket - 42Lolita - ClobbaOnline - GlitzyWonderland - My lolita dress - Lolita wardrobe - Loligals - Brand websites (AP, BtSSB, Bodyline, etc) Not safe: - Amazon - eBay - AliExpress - Wish - Lolita show - Lolita wonderland - anything Milanoo owned Mid tier: - DevilInspired (legit but wayyyy over priced, bad customer service, lots and lots and LOTS of issues)

@@BeguruTeam i got it! it was a pre order/made to order, its gorgeous! the dress is When Camellia Blooms JSK by alice girl, there were other things in the order but thats one of the things that took the longest. other thing were the bows i ordered, but i forgot the name of them

I ordered from them and the size was wrong according to their size chart. They also force you to pay for the shipping. Terrible service

@@BeguruTeam I would say it was great other than the wait! I'd order some small things again on free shipping days to save on shipping/not using an agent. I don't think I'd recommend it to newbies because they don't communicate a lot and it takes a while, leaving a lot of room for them to worry. I'll probably stick with 42agent to order big things like shoes and lots of clothes.

You think 2-3 months is long? Laughs for having been in the bjd doll hobby in the past. For reference, bjd dolls would take 6-9 months to be delivered because, this is Asia we’re talking about! This is nothing new to someone who’s waited on shit longer then 2-3 months, lmao. But the 3-day return is a stupid policy, they should change that for international orders.

Okay, yeah, I see where you're coming from, but let me explain why 2-3 months is way too long. DevilInspired's direct competitors, who offer the same exact brands and products, only have a turnaround time of about 1 month. There is no reason for DI to take 2-3x as long as its competitors to process and deliver the same exact products from the same exact brands and the same mail carriers. Unless it's a custom-made item or a pre-released item, there really isn't a reason for their turnaround time to be so drastically different. Obviously some of this could come from order influx, as DI is probably the most popular reseller, but I still thinks it's super interesting how different they are from competitors.

Yeahh I realized afterwards, too, that some of the edges were just straight up unfinished. Not even serged or anything. It's definitely not the best quality, but I guess that's expected of a really cheap jsk
