we used butterfly pea flower to cooked rice,commonly serve with salad and few others side dish.this herbal rice/salad rice is very popular in thailand and Malaysia.

As info, Butterfly Pea is very commonly used as a natural colouring in South East Asia. In fact, many homes, including mine, grow the plant just for the flowers....and it is a wonderful creeper plant for the trellis as well. It is a safe natural colourant as it has been used in many products eg desserts and drinks here, and has been used for generations.

hello! May I ask if there's any substitute for the flowers, like if there's other substances to use that give the same effect, if not ig we can use purple food colouring instead 😙 also I would add sugar into the mixture and dilute it with water so that its less sour ✌
