Because the old cards are from the manga thats why they have better Design than New cards i think

Nothing beats a good old school collection.

Love seeing people's collections, and love seeing old cards. For nostalgia value totally worth it, probably not worth it for resale value.

That whole "did you come back for one second" part at 16:50 is quite likely, I did the same. I definitely dropped out entirely around the late DM / early GX era, but I remember buying a few packs at walmart some years later. I remember pulling psychic monsters and wondering when that got added in

its always a bit of a gamble buying older collections because people always assume certain cards have value when they're just bulk But you seemed to have gotten some value out of it which is good!

Those vertical sticker came in yugioh lollipops back in the day. They were wrapped right around it. I still have my childhood binder covered in them

Actually, all the LOB cards look to be the very early 2002 unlimited runs.

So much good information in this video because I feel like my collection is actually better than I thought I need to go back through it

I have seen these cards back in my childhood days but I saw the fake cards, back in 2003, when Yugioh was introduced as an anime in the Philippines. Very nostalgic.

I love that ruxin could find out what niwatori means with a simple google search but just refuses to do it 🤣

I remember the smell of new cards, I can’t smell it anymore on newer set ones but it’s nostalgic the smell of cardboard or whatever 😂

Worth it? Can you put a price on nostalgia, hell no. This is exactly the kind of collection I buy. But like $50-100 max. Pure nostalgia and goat format. That starter deck DM was so nice

For me I prolly would have just been a sucker for old cards that buster blader alone with the test print error but it was a little pricey but I say to each his own!!!

it's a more nostalgic collection than a valuable one. but hey, the memories are what are worth the most! and those are priceless

Is like buying a mystery product, is a gamble always and to be 300 out of 400 is not that bad and clearly it was a great video for you so 300 + a great video is a win win for me.

Loving the old cards! In my opinion when you purchase something like this, you are paying for memories in addition to the card values. To top it off, you did end up with some decent value as well!
