In the end it all comes to just one question: Does it make you happy? Some people need their figures to have high value in order to like them. Me? I just care for a good looking fig/prints. Is it from Lego? Great. Is it an knock off? Fine by me as long as it is worth its price (usually 2$ 😂)

Yeah. I really wanted a Captain Rex for MOCs and stuff so I just made my own custom (with waistcape and pouldron). And I just used some parts from Oola to make a custom Hera Syndulla.

I don't mind buying my son fake ones because I can't afford all the ones he wants and I am worried about him losing them. If you can afford all the real ones, more power to you.

I bought bulk fake lego once. somewhere around twelve mandalorians (not the ones with the massive chestplates, these just had printed bodies, helmets and backpacks), five darktroopers, i think ten scout troopers and forty stormtroopers. I had planned on building a moc based on the reclamation of mandalore (and how close i was to what actually happened in the show) and ngl, they all look great. a handful of the pieces are loose or whatever but for 60ish figures, thats pretty good.

I got a bunch of Koruit and WM minifigs not too long ago and quite frankly they knock the official Lego ones off their supposedly high shelf. If you're not a legit collector, I recommend those with all my heart. I get that for collectors it's a different deal but I just want my sets and figs to sit there and look pretty from a distance. I have like under half a dozen legit Lego sets and the rest are all different knockoffs from China, and I must say... they're *really* getting up there quality-wise. Shame Lego itself is essentially a collector's item. $50 for an X-Wing is great for a kid who will get hours of play value out of it, but I'll settle for my $20 cloned set that just sits there and looks exactly the same on my shelf.

I personally prefer they WM clones to the official ones. I've got a bunch of 332nd and 501st WM clones along with P2 Rex and season 7 Ahsoka for less than an official Lego P2 Rex. As you say, some knock offs are better detail than the official ones. The plastic quality may not be as good, but for display pieces they are great.

CAC and Jonaktoys make really good custom clone figs with really high quality prints, if anyone wants a clone minifig that lego has yet to produce (ex. Jesse, Fives, etc.) or a cheaper alternative to an expensive fig (ex. Rex, og Jango, etc.), that's the way to go. Obviously it'll be more expensive than the knockoffs in this vid, but they're usually about $10, maybe $20 tops.

The one brand which produced the jesse clone isn't actually that bad. I mean they have arm print, full leg print etc, and the mandalorian figures e.g. are really good.

Seriously??? Not All of us have the money to pay for Expensive Lego figures. If your building a basic army for a MOC, buying Custom figures is a good choice. Lego is too Expensive for most of us. I will continue to buy knock off figures and sets.

A friendly remind that not all Star Wars minifigures are Lego knock-off. There are alot or 3rd party brand design the Fig very different. Especially the Clonetroopers.

I’ve got a couple fake Mandalorian figures in my collection because I’m making a huge Lego Mandalorian army and there not as good quality as Lego but they are pretty decent quality. to someone who doesn’t collect Lego it’s pretty hard to tell the difference

well i mran theres certain sites that use official pieces but they just custom print them n shit, theyre definitely the best ones to use, its where most custom clones are gotten, they just give u a blank lego and let you apply the custom decals, ez pz

Its very hit or miss but you just gotta find the right one. I think some of these Chinese workshops are using different quality machinery/labor. Some places do it better than lego some are trying to figure out how to hit the right buttons on the printer. Also I'm 90% positive they're sometimes straight up just ripping old machines from lego factories cuz the knockoffs in playsets are really accurate.

I have a bunch of fake 501st figures and a bunch of others that I got for Christmas last year, and I don’t regret it. They’re difficult to move around, but they were still worth it.

My fake figures are Revan, Captain Rex, Jessie, Krennic, Ahsoka, Cody, Malgus, Nihilus, Bo Katan and the entire Bad Batch including Echo. I got most because they hadn’t been an official figure (at the time of purchase) i.e cody or the BB squad but like most people I picked up some thanks to the very high price of the official.

They are not fake figures... They are BOOTLEG-O (the joke is not mine, i just saw it in a random post)

They bought the worst minifigures to the video , I usually buy aliexpress minifigures and they are pretty good for the price

There are a lot of unoffi minifigs that are way more beautiful and detailed like anime additions,that Lego would never collab

I appreciate the addition print a lot of Etsy sellers do though, I got a commander Cody off there and it has printing on every surface including the visor piece which is actually shaped correctly, it looks better than the Lego figure in almost every way. The plastic quality definitely isn't there, but I don't play with figures I just have them displayed, so to me I'd prefer extra detail, also nice to be able to get figures like Amidala for cheap instead of spending like 75$ on one tiny plastic figure which I could never bring myself to do. I get it if you're a Lego purist but I'm not.

I agree. I bought the Arc Trooper Clone Wars 2003 set where there is also Rex, and I assure you that the Rex Phase 1 made by the Etsy creator outclasses the original Lego one. What I mean is that not all custom figures are poor, it always depends on which seller you buy them from. I'd rather spend $50 on a full set of custom clones than spend $200 on just an original Lego one.

Knock off Minifigures are pretty hit or miss, but when they hit? Ooooohh boy! I remember I got a lego Inosuke at a market that was so good it actually fooled me into thinking lego demon slayer was a thing. Had perfect printing and the plastic felt like Lego plastic, for like a buck give or take.

Etsy is the place to get good “fake” figures. None of them claim to be genuine Lego, which is always a good sign. Sure they’ll never be on par with real Lego, but they’re still a pretty good addition to my collection

I honestly don't mind knock offs especially of characters we haven't gotten yet i tend to buy them in person at conventions

The fake figures I get are the ones Lego won't make officially like Kamen Rider.

I was at this new store that opened up near me in a shopping center called Bricks N Minifigs. It was really cool. They had old star wars minifigs and all other types of minifigs, but I think found the most expensive thing there. A Lego Star Wars Boba Fett from 2006 (or somewhere in the mid to late 2000s) that was going for $1800!!! It was pretty insane bc all the figures next to it were like 3$ lol! Anyways keep up the great work! Channels like yours are inspiring me to make my own Lego YT Channel :D

Me personally I love Phase 1-2 Clone troopers but of course since I can't go to the store to buy sets to acquire them, I get custom made ones just in case. However I think custom made lego mini figures for phase 1-2 are awesome and well detailed. However.. it's insulting and so dum when you don't get what your moneys worth. So people who manufactures well, good printed lego Star Wars figures are amazing people and will have people like me as a customer. But if they suck, well then yes I'd flick them outside my window and never get it back. PROBLEMS WITH CUSTOM/FAKE LEGOS PERSONALLY: They are sometimes defective, Can't hold blasters, Legos and body easily rip off, Head and helmet stuck together, Hand pieces can't easily go inside the arm (I had to use a scarf and my maximum strength to stick it in), You can hurt your fingers, hands and arm trying to put them together. But it's all worth it when they look so cool and luckily you got no defectives.

If you get the right fake minifigures they can be in very good quality and they are great to get exclusive characters from for example I got 10 doom legion clones 2 doom legion arc troopers and commander doom for around £25 and they are in fantastic condition

The thing is that the main issue with the fake one's is the plastic quality. With these figures you will see it even more but then on the other hand they are way bigger figures so the printing problems could be avoided more easily same for the loose arms or legs it's bigger so should be easier to assemble easly. I know for customs they take real white Legos Minifigures and they had printing and details that's why many people prefer custom ones quality. Here of course a custom one is going to be difficult, for a few dollars I guess you can have the answer but to me if you're not too unlucky your figures are going to look okay visually at least.
