I was completely surprised when converting a tiny place into a small apartment. Yes, understanding has no garden. So he made a small part for he's pets, as long as they're healthy and being looked after. There is a window behind the curtain. Whoever lives in that apartment should be wow. Brilliant on that young man. ❤

I love watching renovation videos but this makes no sense for me😮. And i dont wanna talk about the poor animals...😢

1st of all,..All I see is a fire hazard, no escape, very poor air circulation and felt bad for those animal's with little room to move..I didn't like this dangerous renovation whatsoever...

Unfortunately not everyone has the benefits and financial means to have those things. In places where rent is extremely high and wages aren’t so great, people do the best thy can with what they have. What you see as a fire hazard with no escape is a big improvement to others living in shanty towns or places with makeshift electricity and living quarters made of cardboard, tarps and pieces of cloth. Hopefully this is just another of many steps onward and upward for this person.❤

This is the weirdest renovation I've ever seen. Turning a bathroom into an entire apartment and farm with chickens and a pig. Too much. I feel bad for the animals.

It looks like the attic area above the entryway before you enter the main quarters. Above the area where he put all the original fixtures and appliances when he emptied the space before starting the renovation.

The renovation is great. The ideas & the making. Well done! But the animals did not Look happy. Too tiny space to move. Perhaps you plan sth in the roof? Please let them be outside, with fresh Air and with some grass plots.

Not sure what country this is but in the UK we have laws against keeping animals in such cruel conditions. He did a good job on the renovation but that's where I draw the line, shocker!!! 😞

This is in BeIjing, China. If one has almost no income, one does the best one can. This man has worked very hard. Yes, it is difficult for the animals, but, unfortunately, this is probably the difference between starvation in the streets and life. Also, unfortunately, factory farms treat animals much worse than this. Do you ask what sort of environment your meat comes from? If not, perhaps you should. I do, and will only buy from farmers whose farm I have inspected and on whom I drop in without notice to make sure they are treating animals well. You might want to do more than criticize a guy who is doing the best he can in an impossible situation. Donate to a charity in China. Donate to an animal rights group, but don't be surprised when the government of China treats its own citizens worse than these farm animals.

This is way to weird.

I love all the natural elements they incorporated into this home! When they outgrow this it will be a nice rental property for them. But if you're going to rent out you should have in the price of the rent a housekeeper come in every two weeks. The housekeeper can tell you if any repairs need to be done and also keep it from turning into a total disaster. Especially if the renters are Young. This home is very masculine and it would really suit a couple of young guys students.

No window? No ventilation? You'll suffocate in that dwelling.

Is this structurally sound? The ceiling wasn't originally built to be used as an attic. Will the beams hold the weight? To be clear, I'm asking because I don't know anything about construction. The place also doesn't look like it will get good ventilation and they added the pets so I wonder how it will smell in the long run. This probably was just done for views and not really for a longterm living space. It's not even in a residential building. It looks like a storefront in an abandoned commercial building.

They don't have a plan. If they don't know the original floor plan of the apartment, how do they install the taps, the drainage system, & the gas (if there's one) right. And also, do they use the right materials? Did they calculate how much weight can the loft withstand? Will this type of renovation last? Kind of scary about the safety.

That apartment is a death trap.

Это душевая оборудованная из балкона или лоджии и потолок там навесной и это видно сразу, вы наверное никогда ремонт самостоятельно не делали, вот вам и непонятно что и откуда😂😂😂 Вы случайно не из штатов, там большинство ни чего сами не умеют делать, там всё делают специально обучение люди, а в России все это умеют, но из балкона делать душевую, а потом оборудовать там мини комнату, размером с русскую кладовку я бы точно не стала, зимой там попу отморозишь как минимум.😂😂😂

Bathroom, kitchen and dining should be downstairs. And the bedrooms would've been better off upstairs. My concern is for the animals. No sunshine can get in for a start. Very dark and damp environment for all of them. As well as no ventilation. And the spikes around the base to keep the pig away from some areas. WT Hell!! Just wrong on so many levels.

Will you send him money? Until you do that, you have no right to give him a hard time. I agree, the surroundings are terrible. I won't purchase meat from a farmer unless I know he or she treats his animals well, and to whose farm I make unannounced visits to make sure they are well treated. What do you do about meat you eat?
