How do these guys do it? They have to know something I don't. Maybe they're just making sure they aren't seen as a threat so the snakes don't make them take a forever nap in the forever box.

You can't be nervous around your animals. Most tamed venomous snakes do tend to be calmer around humans. They also TEND to not use their venom in defensive bites, because venom is for prey and aids in the digestion of their food. So many species actually ration their venom instinctively. Having antivenom is also a great idea, if an expensive one. I wouldn't ever attempt it myself, but if I simply had to, antivenom would be a must. @@ju87stukadivebomber87

@@ju87stukadivebomber87essentially I know this is commonly dismissed as bullshit but snakes really aren’t out to get you, they’re not gonna come after you unless you provoke them, snake handlers usually have experience with venomous species and know what not to do, snakes are just animals, like any other creature, as long as you aren’t doing something the snake doesn’t like and keep a safe distance then you’ll be absolutely fine, and many pet snakes like these are a lot more tame than they are in the wild due to being handled by humans and over time learning that we aren’t a threat to them… hope this info helps ^^

I’m sure you already have, but if, for some reason you have not, you should contact your local EMS, Police and Fire dispatch to inform them as to what is in your home. If for some reason emergency services need to make injury to your house or are fighting a fire. It sure would be a tragedy for a lot of them or your snakes to get hurt or killed. Firefighters for example, sometimes go in and feel their way around the perimeter until they come up on the fire. Smoke even if it’s coming from one room can quickly become blinding when it fills up a house.

Oh, that's a good idea! Maybe there's a rider you can get for your pet insurance that covers house fires, and possibly a homeowner's insurance rider to cover accidental first responder injuries by frightened pets during an emergency. Having a good alarm system might give you discounts. It might also just be a good idea to let local schools and firehouses know you are a snake expert, give the occasional educational talk, remove harmless but intimidating black ratsnakes when people are frightened and that way, if you have something like a prolonged power outage or a tree falling on your house happen, it'll be "Oh, no trouble, dear! Bring them all to the middle school! We have a storage room that's very humid and securely lockable, plenty of power outlets! They'll be happy there," and it'll all get sorted under the Mister Rogers Neighborhood system.

Often, animals in nature will be instinctually programmed to know a venomous snake when they see it and stay away. This makes the venom often more of a deterrent than a weapon. Not to mention that they only have so much venom, so they're not gonna pick a fight if they don't have to.

That was the most chill rattlesnake I've ever seen. Most are rather pissy and shake the shit out of their rattle to let you know just how displeased your presence is making them 😂
I used to have friends who kept snakes. One of them had an apartment filled with countless venomous spiders, snakes, large boas, pythons, and rats. Imagine being the neighbor, unaware that the apartment next door is housing deadly snakes. It should be illegal.
The look on each snake's face just says: "WTF did I do to deserve this!"
The Gaboon Vipers are beautiful. The patterns and colors are so bright. !

The Gaboon Viper is that ONE!! Such a beautiful but deadly snake.
It's so unfair how Gaboons look THAT cuddly. Edit: damn. That's one chill rattler
Bros pulling out snakes like he’s showcasing his gun camos
I swear the way he opens each container feels like suicide attempts
I like to imagine there are aliens doing the same thing with us...
Wow they are so adorable ❤️
Those are really beautiful creatures! Shame they are so deadly
how are they so chill? they must be very well socialized

They may very well be literally “chill” from the drive to his house! Cold blooded critters get calm and sleepy when their internal temperature drops, so with no heat lamp in the car, even with a heat pack or the heat on in the vehicle, they might’ve been a touch colder than preferred.
Horned vipers and cobras are just gorgeous aesthetically; though, that blue rattle snake looks pissed..from traveling perhaps🤣
Bro's just chilling in the containers like they're obviously not death itself
You're so excited about creatures that could make you past tense in an instant and it is SO pure. ❤

That gaboon viper is a total badass
Snakes belong in the wild not in captivity. I know a lot of people enjoy collecting snakes because they’re so beautiful. Many may disagree with me and I do understand.😢

Yes for sure a lot of snakes I'm not sure that these snakes are even 'domesticated' because of the venomous thing with these guys- captive breed maybe but probably it It would probably be way too much of a hassle to return these guys to the wild where they each belong and probably expensive Some snakes though you just can't release or can't just have in the wild, albinos, scaleless, snow, ghost. They wouldn't do well at all. A lot of captive bred snakes don't have survival skills though so I don't know if they'd even make it if they were normal. I don't think that applies to these guys though

For antidote I guess?
Opening those containers like I open my lunch box
my man must be related to Harry Potter cos that's the only logical explanation why these snake are so chill with him. I mean opening the lids knowing fully well that it could be ur last is a next level of courage.

Theses snakes looking healthy and honestly cute
You're the perfect "snake salesman"
I'm glad I can enjoy these from miles away and past a Glass screen.
That blue speckled rattlesnake, freakin gorgeous!!!
The Gaboon viper is INCREDIBLE. Seeing it brought back memories of admiring them in encyclopedia pictures when i was a child.
