Thanks for the video.... I installed 10.2 kW panels and 2 Powerwalls in May, 2023, in Irvine, CA..... No weather delays but some delays in getting Tesla to install it on my title roof..... My utility company took nearly 3 months to give me a PTO..... I think they had a lot of applications due to a change in regulations.... I'm very pleased with our system..... no operational problems.....People should be ready for delays and slow downs when they build anything, including a new solar system.....

Thanks for watching and the comment. Glad you are enjoying your system. So far so good for our install. I’ve heard lots of things have/are changing in California, but here in Pennsylvania not too many people have solar at this point so I feel that we are behind you in updating any regulations.

unbelievable to me as a Brit ,that your power company has to give permission to use your solar, here in the UK, the DNO (District Network Operator) either approves your proposed install size in reference to the proposed export capability, which is down to the grids cable capability in your area, or they restrict your export value, however below a certain level no DNO involvement is necessary, nor is adding batteries as that is "behind the meter", the most time a DNO can take is a month tops, when approved you can export to whatever retail electric company you choose,Btw there is videos on YT of a chap in southampton with 75% of his install on his North West roof generating more than his South facing roof :)

Thanks for watching and commenting! I love receiving perspectives from our friends on the other side of the pond. There are lots of things in the States that make no sense at all!

Hey josh. Nice video. I forgot tesla did regular panels branded as well. Interesting. I found your jump cuts a little off putting. I think it makes sense to add some interest when you're sitting in one spot, but the difference distances and stuff I don't know kind of threw me off. Audio was solid and info was presented well. I liked that you called the drone a droid, because it's the kind of mistake I'd make. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Just goes to show how big gov and big power do their best to get in the way of personal progress... would love to cover the roof of my condo like this but add to that big-HOA and there's no way it would ever actually happen. Permissions should really take no longer than one day. Like seriously what do they actually need to do but check a box in some database.

Thanks for watching and commenting. We had an HOA at our last house, and they were definitely a pain.
