Hey Calvin, any chance you can do a video on a 2007 Ford Mondeo Titanium X sport 2.5 turbo? Regular top spec Mondeo but with the 2.5T engine from the focus ST at the time.. stock with around 218bhp and can be remapped to 275bhp

The first owner of that car was most likely the dealership. The spec seems most likely to have been a demo for one of the salesmen. In those days the franchise used to have to hit certain demo stock parameters such as 6 and 8 cylinder cars, manual and auto, estate, all specs, even stuff such as a demo on Fleet with heads up display or a certain spec of seat upgrade.

My 530i m sport manual was a dealer demo or registered for the 1st 6 month then 1 lady owner till she scrapped it I kid you not Luckily the scrapyard knows a Bmw specialist who buys stuff too good to scrap lol

@@chiefrocka8604 Lucky escape ! It really annoys me when cars go to the scrappers when they're fairly easily fixed up.

My dad had this on an 04 plate, also manual. With a mafia spec: black, SE trim with bigger alloys, cream leather and wood trim. Owned it from 2004-2016 never skipped a beat. Then he bought a brand new s6 and it broke down straight away and was sold with 6 months 😂 ended up getting a f10 535d

I just bought an 04 same exact spec black with the big factory wheels. I got it for a steal kind of feeling too good to b true 😂

I was driving an e61 535D for a couple months as a courtesy car and ever since, I've been searching for another one, or even a 530i. I loved the interior on it and the performance from a diesel was brilliant. power all the through the gears and still plenty when the car was filled to the brim in the boot and with 4 passengers. the rear air suspension was a cool little feature too, great cars!

Great cars these Cal 👌 I've always liked the E60/E61 since they came out in 2003 and I've had 3 since, including a 530d "SE " 4 door 6 Speed Manual with a list price of just under £40K New . It had lots of options like Xenon adoptive headlight, full heated black leather interior with rear seat load through function (very rare on saloons) , full Auto Climate, Pro Logic7 surround sound with Pro Nav, 18" wheels and Sports suspension, etc.. Surprising the original owner of this 530i M Sport didn't speck Xenons 🤔 yet ticked the box for head up display ?!?! Regardless... it's still a nice rare thing and those GETRAG 6 Speed Manual boxes are some of the toughest in the business. 💪

Absolute pleasure this Calv, probably the only car I regret selling was e60 523i manual.. Loved every bit of it.

I love the straight 6 sound of a Beemer. Such god quality cars.

Its not a facelift (lci). Shame the owner who bought this new didn't spec xenon headlights. It's not a bad looking car but the E39 still pips it for looks and feel.

Love the e60, LCI with spiders and a good sound system is the one for me!

The 535d msport was the one to have, over 400ibft, twin turbos, great car.

Last year was searching e60 530i and it's rare to find one with manual and extras like xenon, comfort seats fully electric, heating seats and etc. That's why I gave up and get 530i with auto gearbox because there is more choice.

My facelift E60 530i had 270bhp. Same engine as in facelift Z4 and e92 330i. It has a black valve cover. The Z4 2.5si , e92 325, e60 523i (2.5) and 530i with silver valve are the same engines just with slightly different power output. Great by the way very rare indeed.

I bought my e60 black on black 6 speed manual back in 2006. I paid 34k for it back then, with 42k on the motor and chassis. It was made and imported here in 1/04.. It took me a very long time to find it back then. I still have it today with some modern clips on my channel. I'm a dealer as well , one of the most solid cars I have driven.

My dad had two of these a 2006 BMW 525d SE in a Auto and a 2008 BMW 520d M Sport in a Manual what great cars they were.

Calvin, E60 is with out doubt, in my opinion, the best looking BMW ever! Had a 535d which I loved, and my current M5 is just drop dead gorgeous, haha. Think looks and drive like an animal. Great content as usual. Cheers. Bren.

Got a E61 530d myself and it’s a cracking car 👌

The 525i was a 2.5 and sometimes a detuned 3.0 engine. They never made a 2.3. The 2.2 engine come in the good 320/520i models with a 6cyl ;)

E60 lci perfect family car if you don't do alot of mileage. Hoping to swap my mrs e90 for one before ulez expansion next year

I think that was called the Bangle era. They were criticised, but Chris Bangle is a top designer, and his designs have aged well. Plus, if you create a bit of controversy, you get more attention, and more sales 😀

I have a manual e91 318i and the gearbox is absolute arse. Sometimes doesn't like going into first and not smooth at all

Just bought an e60 530d and love it. Don’t think you can do much better for the money.

I used to own the 530d E60 m sport and my god, beautiful car. The auto gearbox and torque was incredible for the size of this car. Performance and reliability was great. Did around 140k mileage before I sold it!

I think all the Chris bangle designed BMW’s have aged really well still looking fresh.

Everything inside this car is pre lci/pre facelift. Climate control is auto climate, but it was an option. Normally it was manual climate control.

The key and gear knob are the same as the 17 plate M140i I used to have, talk about progress 😅

What hpi app do u use

Seems like a good car, but an expensive one, 4.5k to buy, then it’ll need a few corroded brake pipes sorting out, and the usual old BMW engine oil leak, neither of which will be cheap fixes 😂

Once the issues are sorted though they are really solid and known to go well beyond 200k miles

An EP3 Type R 0-60 time is slightly quicker to 60 than this 530i. I had an EP3 for many years back in 2005. The Honda handbook quoted 6.6secs 0-60 time. They only had 197bhp but they really are quick cars to 60 as they're pretty light.. but they lack torque though only 145lbs/ft.

Aged very well, always liked them to be fair despite Jeremy Clarksons reviews back in the day 😂

Half electric seats....yeah...so not fully loaded. HUD is rare though.

I had the E39 535i m sport and then the E39 530i m sport, but the E60 and every other BMW from this ere I just don't get, they all looked as if they'd had multiple designers who had never communicated with each other. I look at them from one angle and think they look nice, but from another angle they leave me scratching my head. And the interior is no better.

It's not that rare; I've got one sitting on my driveway. They're the part-electric seats on this one. Mine has the full Comfort Seat option, with 'leccy headrests, lumbar support, backrest top/bottom, height & squab. Interior's far worse than the E39 though... it's much costed down. [ I've also got an E39 M5. Had both for 10+ years. Had a manual E39 528i before that ] [ E60 came out in '03, not '04 ]

This one won’t be far away from the scrap heap, it needs loads of corroded brake pipes sorting, and has an engine oil leak (all on recent MOT) the usual old BMW issues. It’ll cost a lot to put it all right, then not long after something else will crop up 😂

@@cartradediary6131 don’t get me wrong, I love BMW’s, how they drive, and how they look, I just don’t like the expense when they go wrong😂 the last one I had was a 320i E46, was a great car, had it 5 years, and had done 176k when I had to get rid of it, had oil leaks, and was using coolant like it was petrol, absolutely zero trace of it leaking out on the drive etc, paid a specialist £300 odd, who said he fixed it, but it was still drinking coolant, then the car died on my way home from work, alternator packed up, so it was time to say goodbye!😂 Yes E39’s love lovely, and not really that outdated to look at it even today, and funnily enough I saw an absolutely gorgeous one in my local retail park today (Worcestershire), it was a blue 530i, lowered on a nice set of wheels, looked like 18/19’s perhaps, with a private plate, must have been a sport as it had the sports front and rear bumpers, It looked immaculate 😎
