I'm not sure if that was genuine or satirical but you hit the nail on the head: this is when real estate prices will be the lowest and deals abundant. How she transforms this investment will be the determining factor in its future success - assuming she actually got it for a discount. But with my limited info, my intuition tells me she's got the business acumen to pull it off. Speaking of which, I'm happy to help brainstorm with you ma'am!

No way!! My grandparents live 10 minutes from that mall. I remember getting shoes at the Hibbett Sports that used to be in there.

I feel sorry for Bob Adams, who seems to put a good amount of effort into his floral displays despite being located in the most depressing shell of a mall in existence.

A great idea would be to have local artist who are into graffiti, paint murals in the abandoned Win Dixie to showcase their talents and change the walls ever other month, those murals can be a great attraction site for people who like to take cute instagram pictures with cute backgrounds!

It's like being a landlord, they pay rent and you upkeep the buildings structure and the "outside" cleanliness by hiring cleaning/plows/etc while they upkeep their "inside"

Wow I love the new possibilities you have to do with that mall. It would be nice to modernise it up a bit to attract more people because it does look quite old but I’m sure it will look really nice when done

This is my hometown and I recently moved back here!! Such childhood memories!! Used to have a lot of stores but has been in decline since the early 2000s. Only anchor stores left is Roses and Belk.
