Your channel has justified hit my inbox so you got my attention, especially as you have a green (or two?) L322’s. I too have a green 2005 TD6 (giverney green) and don’t intend to sell as I use it daily and regard it as a long term Project. Agree it is agricultural but there is something ‘simple’ about it, it’s serviced 3-4 times a year and the gearbox gets an annual service. If things break they just get repaired. Thousands have been spent on it over the years but I regard it as my ‘guilty pleasure’. It’s done 212k and continues to keep me ‘alert’. I rarely use supermarket fuel and it gets premium fuel every few tanks along with some of those ‘snake oil’ additives from time to time. I see my next purchase also being an L322 but this time a green petrol version! Good luck with the Project, looking forward to seeing the progress, regards.

Thank you for watching and we appreciate your detailed comment! They’re always a project aren’t they, we’re currently working on the arches as they’re very corroded on the TD6, let us know if you’d like to see a short video regarding that. I wouldn’t worry too much about supermarket fuel as they all come from the same tanker, just different additives! Yeah keep on top of the servicing and it’ll last forever! Look forward to your comment on the next video 😄

Yeah mine were but they were both done last Summer. Yep be good to see your progress in this area. BTW I followed up by ‘Lanoguarding’ the underneath/sills/wheel arches etc and will consider this task as part of regular serving etc. One of my next tasks during spring/summer will be to get the alloys refurbished and have some detailing work carried out as I think it deserves it after 212k! Best wishes.

Excited to see your journey with this l322. What year is it? It looks like the 2010-2012 variety. I’m in the US and I have a 2011 HSE with a 5.0 gas motor. Good luck eith yours!

@@L322Unlimited mate, it’s so hard to do so. People are literally selling them partially knackered. Broken this, damaged that, faulty this. I’d technically be buying a disaster. And for those that’s are apparently ok until you get there, they’re asking silly money over book price. Then there’s 3.6 vs 4.4……….. ripping hair out 😂

Hopefully your rear suspension wasn’t as corroded as mine was to do the rear bushes, looking forward to the next video

Rear suspension looks good, even the rear on the TD6 has held up well, it’s just the arches that always corrode!

Yes please make videos of both your td6 and tdv8. Everything l322 from comparison to work done and everything in between thanks. I own a 4.4 tdv8. Looking at adding a td6.

RE the fan, no to my understanding and on both my classics and P38 the viscous fan should only kick in when hot and the wax has liquefied so sounds like the coupling has passed away

@@L322Unlimited It is an epic looking motor, hopefully passed what you have mentioned on your list, there will not need much doing! My one only did one naughty thing and the warranty covered it luckily as at that time there was no bodge fix, but in this day and age someone has prob worked out a fix for anything that is a proper ball ache. I am guessing you are already well aware of the fullfat RR forums? All the best with it, look forward to seeing the first drive video.

@@L322Unlimited Just remembered there is a test for a weak viscous fan, but I cannot remember it and it involves holding it! :) So I will not try and quote it here but hopefully someone on tinterweb has listed it. Do not want you loosing any fingers because I cannot remember quite what the process was!
