I agree. I also bought their dual electric and their single 4 years ago. I never had one issue. I just ordered their dual platen hat press and still excited.

We just got our heat press delivered and moved it upstairs with just 2 people. Jesus it is a heavy machine but it works really well and great quality.

Servo with rack and pinion drive is how the press is stamping.. I would love to see inside that press.. The crunching sounds like the pinion slipping on the rack or it’s a stepper motor and not a servo motor and the stepper is missing steps as force is applied..

Awesome review. I love the whole idea of this particular heat press but way too much for me and space. But, it’s the first time seeing an autopress that provides pressure control. Most and only a few autopress out there don’t have pressure controls. Do you know if they sell just the autopress with pressure controls instead of this massive machinery you demonstrated?

Yes, they have a single press as well. And the stand and the different platens are optional

Is mid 2024 how is the press doing?

I think that I am going to purchase this machine but without the stand or laser alignment system. Do you still recommend it?

The Stahls factory is directly next to where this is made in China and many of the components are the same. If you buy Stahls you have massively over paid.

Couple questions on your video.. 1. When pressing you have craft paper under the shirts, is that just for protecting the plattens from ink transfer or something? 2. I noticed you just placed shirt, with the collar (thicker material) directly on the platten, with no pillow or anything. Are you not worried about your transfer not getting enough heat/pressure from the press cause of the collar being thicker? 3. Is there a way to pre-press the shirt once without transfer and without the shuttle moving to other platten?

Great questions, Brian! 1. I put a teflon sheet under the shirt just just as a covering for the foam. It's not really necessary, but we put it there in case some dye migration happens with our poly blends. 2. It hasn't been a problem for us. We use 27 psi to press the shirts and the foam on the platen are firm but have a little give. 3. Unfortunately, no. What I would do is pre-press one while putting another shirt on the other platen. Once the first shirt has been pre-pressed, I would move the heating plate to the other side while placing the design on the first shirt.
