I Bought a Cheap Router Table, and I Kind of Love It?
I've been looking for a new router table ever since my first table literally dropped out on me while a router was running- I have been eyeing this SKIL router table combo for some time and finally took the plunge to see if I would like this thing at all. First impressions... revealed at the end of the video!

In my opinion, even after a few months, this is the best router table for the money, hands down. Enjoy!
cannot get these in IRELAND my bro.. I LIKE THE ROUTER FROM THE REVIEWS i HAVE SEEN. Somebody with ur skill level why haven't u built ur own ROUTER TABLES? U buy the routers and build the tables yourself? Maybe a wee b it more expensive for certain Plywood's but worth it in the long run imho. Thanks for this video all the same bro. It helps me make my mind up on buying or making my own.
The other reviewers have pointed out problem with the fence on this thing

It’s got a lot of cool ideas, but the plastic itself isn’t very stable/consistent. Even what I had figured out only worked for a little bit before it warped even more
6:55. I just bought this set up and this was the first thing I noticed. You seem like a pretty hand guy. Have you been able to find a way to keep the left "jointer" fence from wiggling?

Shims. Lots of shimming. But, a big problem I didn’t realize until later was that by shimming the left hand side to be coplanar with the right along the bottom edge was that the top edge was no longer in line, and when I corrected the top the bottom would be out. This was more of an issue with using a coping sled for door parts. I’ve actually just screwed a piece of hardwood with a cutout across the entire fence, ensuring that everything will always be coplanar. Not ideal, but still not a deal-breaker for this price point

It seems where you live it,s cheep as chips but I stay in UK and Amazon over charges you by another £100 pounds on top of your price.lucky for some I suppose.but good video

The more I use this table the more I like it. I solved the fence issue by filing down the tabs on one side, so everything is smooth and coplanar. It’s a fantastic little table for the money

I'm getting this table in the mail soon....I plan to use it as a jointer as well as a routing table. Can you explain in an little more detail how you fixed the fence issue?

I really should make a follow-up video. All I did was take a file and sand down a protruding plastic piece that kept the fence from sitting flush- after that, it’s been amazing!

Ok so it's a great router table for the money. My fences are co planar out of the box. But I am having a problem with flex when I use it as a jointer....any ideas? Mayne c clamp the left fence?
