i use to own this i rolled it 5 times in a field the body shop had it a month . then i sold it to a guy in leeds .

Yes i know this lump incredibly well. Timing chain will need doing after 60k. Carbon build up a massive problem as needs to be walnut blasted to avoid depolution faults on ecu. countless sensors, sparkplugs, oil leaks etc. Spent around £7k keeping mine on the road since purchase. If you buy one of these, expect to be doing all the work yourself as that is the only way it is affordable. On the other hand, it is probably one of the best sounding 4 cylinders on the road and they handle like nothing else, imo worth every penny ive put into it.

Yeah they are renowned for timing chain issues I’ve heard! Thankfully on this it was recently done! Also I ended up cleaning the values up a bit they were pretty bad! Most cars with direct injection have the issue sadly! I know what you mean mate all cars have their problems though right? 😄 you’re not wrong though they do sound good especially for a 4 cylinder! Quite a distinctive sound as well! 😄 I know what you mean mate it’s a labour of love but it’s worth it 😊

Would not hesitate paying that price after seeing this video.

Honestly mate I couldn’t tell you! 😂 sometimes a bit of trial and error I guess, usually I try and lay things out when they’re off in a similar way to where they came off! 😊
