Just got the 2020 242d3. Door opens up to full 90 degrees and interior is a little bigger (I believe 3 inches wider). Very nice machine. Very happy with it so far.

Thanks for watching and commenting!! I haven't been able to use it much. But for the very little I have, this unit is awesome. Looks like I am going to get many shots for snow over the next few weeks. I will be doing videos with it.

Is a nice machine one thing I don't like is that is missing the lighter port and I need it so I can plug my warning light 🤪

Thanks for watching. The plug for a warning beacon is there. It's actually on the outside of the machine on the back of the cab.

What is the difference between 242d and 242b? Thanks

How are you liking the 242d? Do you find it to be the right size?

I love it. Perfect size machine for my applications. I don't need bigger because I have bigger toys if I need to do bigger things lol. The only complaint I would have is the controls are a little to touchy.

@buffalostate1 Thanks for watching! I am 6' tall and used to think the same thing as I have had older Cat skids before. However the new ones with the air ride seats make all the difference. Raise that seat up and my legs are very comfortable. Thanks for commenting, Have a great day!

@@anthonyevers149 Yep! Also talked with my Cat rep and got to see the next gen and he said they have made them a little wider so now there will be even more room. Wasn't sure on the launch date though.
