Do it on the 62 please! You already did it on an 80. Time for a 62 Cummins! Later on when you find an 80 frame/axles/suspension, you can transfer everything. That 62 has a lot of personality and history. Keep it alive!

I agree! I think the vote goes to the 62 series! That way I can also use a getrag with a first gen transfer case and a kingpin Dana 60

@@Austin_SaintOnge I’m debating using Dana’s on my 80. Eventually I’d love some High 9”/60 hybrid (“609”, Dana 60 axle housing with a 9” high pinion housing and diff), but that’s $10k in axles alone. I love the idea of junkyard stuff with refreshed parts.

do it in the 62! cummins with those tires would be awesome.

I’d love to see you do the 62 swap … with NV4500 and 80 series transfer. Make some precedent for us gomers to imitate!!

I have ran VE pumps for years. You can make a decent amount of power, especially for a super light land cruiser. I put a Denny T fuel pin in mine and and it woke it right up. I would put it the 62. Keep the 🍃 springs. It would be one of a kind. Sweet

Sell the 80 and the 62, buy a 100 series with a blown motor and a junk 80 and build a cummins swapped 105 series
