Piranha bikes are really good too. Thier 140 is a monster.

I’m so tempted to try this out! Looks like it could be a lot of fun. Especially for the money.

For the money the ssr 150 in my opinion is a better bike and it also has electric start. Also, the 189 is even better. The only downside is that it's way heavier. Like 75lbs heavier.

These honda and daytona clone engines are not as bad as other say, companys such as Lifan, Zongshen and YX ( Yinxiang ) are decent engines they get the job done and they have more power than the crf 110 or kx110, got a friend who have a Lifan 125 on his old honda cub he has well over 10k miles on it

Needs valves adjusted and carb adjusted correctly should fire up first kick and stay running

Just bought a yx160 motor and made sure the valves were in spec before start up, also changed the carb

Were they tight from factory mate they a nightmare most people are unaware you need to adjust them when new

Glad i helped mate even most of the youtube people who fix the pitbikes are unaware they need set from new

Get a nibbi racing carb for your cc size. We put 22mm on our bikes. Throttle response is way better and the bikes are way faster.

Yeah seems like after further review, getting a nibbi is the only option lol. One of the pitfalls of the ssr i suppose.

i just bought a 140tr today.and i must say that are tough to start.. and sometimes it almost kicks ur foot back!! but i usually give it 1 or 2 slow kicks to prime then it starts on the 3rd no issue. mine came with a mikuni carb im running premium gas

I bought my son a 125 auto quad and an SSR 125 standard few years ago. The quad motor is absolutely gutless and the SSR 125 bike basically fell apart. The motor is by no means junk so I took it off and put it on my sons quad, it’s a rippa now lol. Wondering if it’s worth just spending the extra money on the Japanese bike, might last longer

It would be way better to spend the extra money to get a honda or suzuki any of the Japanese bike would last a lot longer than ssr bikes
