Are you his general? You may like some of the army men games by 3DO! I have 11 of them, my favourite is Army men toys in space. Do you have a collection of army men too? I also collect police action figurines as well!!!!

My theory to why there mixed figures sets exist is because of how many army men the company produces. For example, the extra figures that don’t make it to the full release of freshly new made AIP sets, just like those Scottish officers and also the damaged figures. Also.. you will see who is on top of the AIP apex collectors.. Anyways I love what you got! Thanks a lot for that shoutout too!

Brings me back to my days when I was a kid and had a huge cardboard box filled with soldiers like this. If I knew then what I know now ;)

Good video! I bought the AIP Chinese Boxers years ago. I liked the various colors but not the hard plastic they were made in back then. Historically the Boxers were interesting. I think they practiced Kung-Fu or "Chinese Boxing", and actually believed that their spiritual strength would make them invulnerable to western bullets (ha-ha). A multi-national force was sent in to quell the Boxer Rebellion, which incidentally included Austro-Hungarian sailors. A guy I know up in New York took some AIP Russian soldiers and painted them up to look just like those Austrian sailors----turned out real nice!

Armies in Plastic has been my favorite toy soldier manufacturer. They are an excellent price and have great poses for stop motion, dioramas and play. They cover obscure conflicts, cover popular conflicts that other manufacturers neglect (WW1, War in Afghanistan), have a consistent sculpting style, are at the beautifully large 54mm scale, and as of 2022 have moved it's production from China to the United States. Additionally the vast variety of troops and colors allow for them to be stand ins for numerous fictional conflicts, whether from media or your imagination! For example I'm using their Turkish assault troops and the Egyptian army winter dress troops to represent two certain factions from Attack on Titan, can you guess which ones? :)

I recently got my hands on the rare Fort Morocco French Foreign Legion Fort - 1900 playset from armies in plastic. Super cool fort and if you can find them online expect to pay a hefty price for it. But as a collector very much worth the money.

Another $50 I didn't know I needed to spend! Now it's just possible that I am dumb, but what does Step 5 in the ordering process mean? Are you suposed to ask for a free set in the Comments or Additional Sets box? Or does AIP add it to the cart automatically? I don't get how making myself a list works. 1. Select product category(s). 2. Place sets you would like to order in (add to cart). 3. Review cart and click on to secure checkout. 4. Fill out checkout form. 5. If you are entitled to free sets, please make a list for yourself prior to checkout of the sets you desire. You CANNOT at this point make a selection for free sets. 6. Submit payment.

You're right, WWI figures are less common. I have tons of WWII soldiers but hardly and First world war soldiers. I too went to armies in plastic, I think I got my Persians from there. I also like collecting police figures, I have some Russian riot police too. I saved up over £200 for a big purchase from BMC toys! I even have pink soldiers! Now they even do woman soldiers as well, thanks to a little girl from America who wrote a letter! For some reason orange soldiers are the least common! Great video by the way!!!! From England!

HE HE, I too spend a lot of my money on army men, I also collect and build Airfix models too. These videos are AWESOME! Where I live people who know me are always telling me that I'm too old to play with soldiers, really? I can do as I please because there are people my age who go out and get wasted on alcohol, that too is money straight down the toilet or gutter. Collecting army and police men is what I enjoy the most and I only spend what I can afford to spend. I also have a band of friends, one of which agrees with me on army men, he an American! He recently took me to a restaurant as a birthday treat. He is turning out to be a real pal after all these years of failed relationships and placements gone wrong. I now have real friends, not blood sucking bullies who scam their way into my life so they could sponge off my dad! Do they have Airfix in America too? I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a passion for the past and army men. I'm looking for a new job, I'm building up a CV so I can use my college grades to get a better job. I guess I will just have to be a big kid and play with toy soldiers, at least it's a safe hobby and who am I harming? Yeah I know people think I'm silly for being into them but despite having Autism there are a lot of behaviours I don't understand from so called "normal" people! People do some pretty illogical things that I just don't comprehend! You gorgeous big cutie! I also don't have a family.

I think the gray French soldiers from WW1 are actually meant to be Serbian soldiers from that was (they reuse the same sculpts for some armies; Italian and French are the same but different colors)

Thought you’d never return to armies in plastic🥲 By the way this video was really awesome and you are right on one thing about getting these value packs, getting repeats of figs. I got like 19 of this OD green British officer that’s blowing his whistle:(((((( but hey I did got like 200 figures of the value packs so I think will be okay. Great video plastic commander👍
