Dylan! pretty incredible hauls/collections you've come into here, all testament to the groundwork you put in. Nice story on finally finding that old guy's place and bonding with him again, and also the success on the pop-up store - really looks like you're sorting the kids out with some good stuff! Always love the stories. Cheers- Dean

I love that your so enthusiastic about digging and collecting, but then aren’t we all. 4,000 in three weeks is pretty amazing. Going through those would be a full time job all by itself. Cant wait to see what else you’ve dug up. Thanks for posting and keep digging

I love the stories! Sounds like fate that you found the house just as they were about to move. Great words of encouragement at the end there.

it is nice when things fall in place and with minimal effort, good stuff. Can't imagine what your sales bins look like now. Interesting, some albums you showed I see plenty of here in the NorthEast, but probably reversed with Charlotte. I hear Dylan/Dead tour was not so good, a reason why I have not gotten that vinyl. However Dylan / Petty is worth to get. steve

Fallen Angels - sweet. Nighthawks at the Diner - my favorite Tom Waits album. That Gil-Scott is probably his most famous - nice. Hey, I live near Charlotte :)

I have been searching for a Robert Ludwig pressing of Led Zeppelin II, is there any way of telling from the cover or is looking at the deadwax the only way to tell? Thanks for the videos Dillon.

Seen you had some extra RTJ copies the other day. My RTJ2 skips so would be interested in a copy if possible. Would actually be up for buying a mystery box of vinyl off you if you were interested! Into all genres and would totally be up for buying a mystery box of gear!

The Tony Joe album that you showed is Tony Joe White's 3rd album from 1971, he's known for his top 10 single "Polk Salad Annie" from his 1968 album "Black & White". I thought he was black when I first heard him.

When I tell people that I have 1,500 albums, 723 45's and 230 78's, I get the same stupid question: "Why don't you sell them?". If I wanted to sell them, I wouldn't have them.

Man I love the stories. Nothing sweeter than finding that gem in someone's garage. I also buy collections but on a much smaller scale. I think my wife would kill me if I brought home 4,000 records in a month. A couple hundred is much easier to handle. I will look you up on Instagram (which I am new to), I am always on the lookout for Brazilian records which are extremely hard if not impossible to find in the wild. Anyways great records. I am on the lookout for that Roy Ayers as well. One day. Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the grails sneak peek.

Thats the key right. Unfortunately I dont keep much these days myself but just the one and its worth it. My wife has learned to enjoy but there is a limit which I have definitely expanded from the early days. My instagram is hackma377 although I should probably change this name to something more interesting. I dont go on instagram much and only added to follow one artist but I will check more frequently if it is an outlet to purchase records. Cheers.

You found some good scores! I've seen Tony Joe White live about five years ago. He was promoting his newest album. To me he has a southern voice, very Louisiana and Texas in a way. He just played iirc, all by himself, which was impressive as heck. He had some things electronically that he was using for his back-up music, effects and stuff. Nighthawks is one of my fave Wait's albums.

I just looked up your Neil boot in my book on Young bootlegs. It is from 1974 and is a reissue of another boot called "Collectors Item" yours is lesser quality compared to the other boot. The source is Music Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's on the Contraband records label. Found with various Contraband labels some are blank. No colored vinyl on that one and no performance date. There was nothing originally attached to the back cover.

WOW! I have less than 100 LP's... That many would BLOW MY MIND! I would HAVE to listen to them all! I would need to use up my Paid Time Off and take a vacation from work! I subbed and hope you have time to check out my channel! I have a wide taste in music and love and review a lot of those records most people disregard. I actually reviewed a few that had severe water damage and mold!
