Welcome to Ireland Kev, that Viking Splash tour you were wondering about is a tour around the Viking areas of Dublin, yep Dublin along with other city's in Ireland was founded by those pescy Norsemen, the Tour "bus" then drives into the water and sails down the Grand Canal as it is a WW2 amphibious vehicle. We eventualy threw the Viking leaders out in some battle or other to England and married the feckers that were left behind as there is Viking blood in alot of us Irish, they became more Irish then the Irish themselves lol.

Nice one. Some friends of mine moved to near Dublin a few years back and I've nipped over a dozen times or so. Super super expensive in Temple Bar of course, but has to be done once

I travel a lot to Scotland and knew what gate you were heading to when I saw the direction you were taking at the airport Gate 7C lol Unfortunately Temple Bar is a rip off and the musicians don’t get paid what they should. Far better value in other bars not far from TB. Great to see Anne and David in your video. Going to be in Tenerife in April. Hopefully catch up with you one day 🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Dublin - the place I was born and grew up in. Yes, Temple Bar is crazy expensive for drink, but much cheaper in the suburbs and surrounding areas. My now home town of Wicklow has pints of Guinness for €5 / lager €5.50-€6, so considerably less expensive than Temple Bar.

We've been to Dublin twice (2007+2008) I remember the ha' penny bridge inn being €12.50 for a pint of beer and a vodka and coke 😢. It's lovely but the south west is a lot cheaper. Enjoy!

If you get a Ryan air account you can get those cheap flights offered all the time, without having to search the internet.
