The group doing diagnostics at the gas station w/you guys was unreal. Each clip was a new 'character' with something to help. The computer guy, the fuse guy, the KOENIGSEGG TECH guy...! Personally, with the existing issue(s) since the car landed, I'm really surprised donuts were attempted.

Yeah, it shows how great car communities are.. even when they're super-rich. But Damon's gotta feel like a dick.. defying common-sense, and doing something almost guaranteed to break the trans😂

You should keep the car in the UK after Gumball and do some touring for a week. There was loads of DDE fans waiting at Ripley Castle for you guys but we get the priorities - I ended up getting heat stroke sitting in the sun for 5 hours waiting 🥵 there was that many people there no one could get signal to check socials.

My dad had stage 4 lung cancer we cured it with Rick Simpson oil it wasn't cheap but it worked they only gave him 2 months to live 5 years later still no cancer

We was part of the fans waiting for you at Battersea Park, literally the crowd was just there for you guys. I feel most core fans understood you didn't make it, and with the footage from this, and the stories posted by James, it paints a very clear picture. Even if you did make it, the locals around the immediate area, put a lot of pressure on the police to close down the grid right on 9pm, even turning Shmee away at the entrance. I'm just glad personally that you both made it to London afterwards, and then onto the next leg of the European Tour. Hopefully, we can get you both back in London in the future. The DDE SVJ lives on, and I look forward to seeing you finish the tour.

I was also waiting at the Battersea grid, I travelled 3 hours and waited a further 10 hours and the pressure from locals was indeed intense I was gutted they didn’t make it or that I didn’t get to see them but I agree it’s understandable and rally’s are unpredictable but again safe journey for the remaining trip

Sometimes you have to wonder if Damon has the mind of a 12 year old? I mean come on, he knew there is a problem and yet started doing donuts and then is surprised the car broke, revving the shit out of it at ever opportunity he can. Nico hit the nail on the head… DDE aka Damon self inflicts the majority of issues. Damon Destroys Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are the best Gumball vlogs I’ve seen since watching Schmee in 2013 when he had a purple R8 spyder and wasn’t anywhere as famous as he is now. The other classic is the Rolls Royce Phantom crash on the motorway at over 100mph - no one was injured (apart from the car)

Damon is wild. Doing donuts and putting that much stress on the drivetrain when the transmission is already struggling is not ideal. Hope they can get it back up and running, that car is a masterpiece.

This content is amazing! I mean I was a medium fan of the channel but now I'm a massive fan! The behind the scenes aspect, the comradery, the chemistry - all right up there! I drove 2 hours to get to Ripley n spent 7 hours in the sun with a burnt neck to prove it. Absolutely gutted that I didn't get to see and hear the Aventador

@@bjrnbjrkas2179 new gearbox from Lamborghini is like $25k plus he may as well take it to the factroy in Italy to get it serviced and foxed properly otherwise more problems will just arise than blame Lamborghini for building a car that is prone to breaking when he caused all the issues. If he knew the car had issues with changing gears and holding revs for too long then goes and does a donut in second gear at full 8k rpm he should've expected the car to throw codes and break on him. man keeps inflicting these issues on himself.

I’d say that the SVJ has held up well with the stress these guys have put it thru and is a testament to how well the cars are built as I don’t think a regular owner would do even half what these guys do to a car they own. We have to remember there’s a formula for success on KZread. This is a part of that formula.

They prob also paid for the rally plus ship the car to europe and now he tries to bring the car to the limits after spending like 100k for this trip. It sure is a best. The Germans have built tanks since they took Lambo over, in terms of reliability.

Why abuse an already compromised vehicle? Really sucks because we were all looking forward to seeing you guys make it to the end in the SVJ. Edit : just saw on another channel you must have got the SVJ figured out, you made it to Bruges. Congrats guys!

Someone left a comment saying they saw them driving the car somewhere else. Well after this destinations point in the video so I’m sure it gets working.

Spoiler, they didn't make it to the London event, we waited until 11pm when they said they were no longer coming. From instagram it looks like they get the car up and running again and were back to doing donuts in Bruges so who knows what actually happened.

Definitely an alternator issue since it's holding power, but also what triggered the alternator to break could be the stress of the donuts

Nah, they kept the car powered on trying to diagnose it and the Battery died. The alternator charges the car when it's running. I didn't see any reason to believe the alternator is at fault. Hopefully its something simple but there's a chance something major is broken, or bent like a rod or drivetrain. 4 sticky tires can send a ton of torque back up the drivetrain . Cheers mate !
