I live in Texas. It doesn’t snow enough for everything to close down over a “crumb of snow.” Last year was a surprise snow in Texas. We’re used to mild winters. We have intensely hot and humid summers. That’s what we’re used to.

Still can't get over the fact that haircuts in the USA cost a literal fortune. Here in Croatia a basic haircut is max 150 kunas which is around 30 dollars. So if you get your hair dyed and cut it costs you about 500 kunas (around 85 dollars) if your hair is long. And we also don't have tipping and I do not get why Americans do.
