Why not use the whole piece of puff pastry? Just cut long rectangles, then cut those diagonally and you still have long triangles but no wasted dough.

Nice idea, but really tedious to watch, we all know how to roll a basic croissant shape and apply egg wash

This made no sense. Arranging the cheese over the ham in such an odd way to cut into small pieces, Why not just cut it like a pizza? Why cut so much ham to only use 1 thin little slice. Way too much "cheese" than ham.
