@@LUCAdupaLUNI yeah that is fun to do and i mean, as long as its fun its valid, once made a bunker of wood with my friend and did a no armor boss battle with moder from there, and once made a viking village around eikthyr spawn and spawned 30 of them, stuff like that is what makes thid game even more fun.

@@kevincaasi926 You use stagbreaker on the ground and if there's iron or silver veins in the aoe range it shows up as damage numbers/"too hard" allowing you to find ore without having to dig for it/use the wishbone.

"crypt clipping is too cheaty" proceeds to completely cheese both moder and yagluth

This is so great. I did this myself some months ago and DIED searching for these bones, there were like 12 in all the map and I searched like 80% of it! And now I find this in my YT recommendations. Congratz man! Good job! I actually farmed iron by killing Oozers, made an iron pickaxe and strip mined a quarter of a mountain to find two silver veins. Yagluth and Bonemass were a piece of cake with the Frostner (even just tanked through bonemass fight, only dodging his attacks). Also nice to have a cape for the mountains. Might have needed more time than you, but totally worth it since you spend most of the time in swamps anyways looking for the bones. So I just did it at night to find Oozers as well and get the iron.

I've come from the future to tell you that ANY troll, with or without a log, can break the metal deposits. Unarmed trolls' regular grab attacks won't reach from on top of the deposit. But a grab from a lower height (ex: next to the deposit, downhill) can damage . Rock throws and two-handed smashes also damage deposits.

You could have just dug under the crypts and got into them that way if you wanted a more immersive experience. I personally clip because it's faster but have done the other method as well when I didn't want to bring fine wood for a chair. Honestly, it would have been faster to race a brass pick, then dig into a crypt, then make an iron pickaxe, then make a stagbreaker, then scout a silver vein and enclose yourself around it with a fire so enemies dont see you, With a silver weapon of your choice you can easily spank yagluth and moder. The hardest part would have also been taken care of if you got into a crypt.

I absolutely love the fact you not only have this edited version but the full unedited version posted as well.

Fantastic work! In my first world, I tried to see how far I could get without killing bosses and using the items available from the intended progression, but I only made it up to the iron age (with the chair clip) before I gave that up and started a new world to do a normal run. I admire your commitment!

Wow, that's nuts. I've got a few hundred hours, and I still haven't beaten The Elder yet... I get much too distracted after building ONE base in the meadows, and then it's like I have to explore every part of every area around me... This is usually what happens with me when I play most open-world games - I'm impressed with how dedicated you are! Video was really informative as well. I learned a few things, and it makes me want to try Valheim again... Subbed!

@@dr.schlopp4089 my brother and I run a world together, I highly recommend carefully sneaking into the mountains early game for some wolves. Makes quick work of most everything if you just let them passively breed and multiply, super helpful for exploring Black Forest and such

The part with the swamp-stone-circle-fkingchestnotspawning-bloodyhellnobone..... Exploring all those swamps around the fking PLANET(map)... insane.

Just for future reference, the bonemass fight is significantly easier if you use a blunt weapon like a club. He is weak to blunt damsge and resistant to slash and very resistant to pierce, so bows and swords are doodoo vs him

You could have also prospect with stagbreaker in the swamp to look for the muddy piles underground to find charred bones

This man farmed copper using a troll for 30minutes when I can't even enter a fkin forest without being ganked by 30 greydwarfs

myself and a group of friends decided we wanted to only kill skeletor, without killing all the other bosses. We managed to do it, starting by getting the trolls to smash all the ore we needed, before we could make our own bronze pickax. The rest is pretty self explanatory. We killed him with all silver gear.
