It would have been worth defeating the great khan to get access to the throne which gives you the satrapy vassal type which gives you resources and naval capacity from vassals

@@Lathland I have a challenge for you Lathrix that will take you back to the gigastructural engeneering mod. You take the origin that starts you in an extra galactic cluster with a damaged ehof in a neighboring system. You are not allowed to leave the cluster or activate the primordial pillar until either an npc empire opens the primordial pillar OR one of the crisis has taken over the galaxy. No blorkats because they destroy everything but all the other crisis are allowed would even recommend multiple crisis so they can fight amongst each other till one is at the top. The only way you are allowed to contact the rest of the galaxy is after you build a sentry array megastructure.
At some point you should play against 25x all three crises. The madness that would ensue would be glorious

AT LAST MORE LATHRIX STELLARIS and it’s a cool challenge run too 🥳

Three hour tutorial? Not even close. Just set the game to easy mode and play as if it's an RPG. You don't have to be good at Stellaris to play it.

@@Poo_Brain_Horse My first game was the UN and I played like a federation builder, just basic Star Trek stuff, making friends, all that. Just to get an idea on how to play the game. On my second playthrough, I just said fck it and why not play like Tyranids. Most fun I've ever had lmao. Really embodied the "Genocide simulator" side of Stellaris

Shattered Ring since it's last update is really powerful and fun! I definitly recommend it for a tall megacorp game! Hopefully we get more challenge runs!

Oh, what did they change?

Жыл бұрын
@@HandsomeGamerGuy 2 years ago or so you started with a shattered ring with the OP districts. Your pops still had their normal planet preference, meaning you started with one of the best megastructures, could expand freely and only had to worry about rare ressources for district upkeep. The then nerfed the origin by adding a ringworld preference trait, meaning your pops could no longer really settle on other planets. Together with the rare ressource upkeep this made the origin essentially into a one planet challenge that was neither fun nor viable. Afterall you can't really maintain an endgame structure with early-game ressources. The current iteratation (atleast of the time the video was released) made the starting ringworld into its own special planet type, seperate from normal ringsworlds. Essentially they are normal planet districts but generally stronger. You can also colonise the 2 adjecent ringworld segments, though they need repairs unlocked through tech to gain habitabilty. Also you get the option to turn your ringworlds into normal ringworlds with megastructure engineering. Overall the origin is now way more fun, does no longer require rare ressources you dont have early game and gives you pretty much 2 planets in your starting system to settle from the get-go, perfect for a one-system challenge or generally a tall playthrough.

Yes yes ! Every new Stellaris video is a blessing!
No matter what Lathrix picks for his empire, it is just epic to watch, how he takes literally ANY bonus the game offers and, in his twisted and chaotic way, turns it into the most OP thing, you have seen... until the next playtrough, that is... 😂
Stellaris is a series I definitely want to see more of in the future ❤

I put down as many as I could, honestly! The increase in influence cost the Further the planet is from your borders and since my borders were a single system they got VERY expensive! Almost 200 influence each by the end. Glad you enjoyed the video :D

@@Lathland Oh okay, I didn't realize it could be so expensive with distance since I've never done a single system challenge. Maybe it could be an idea for a future playthrough? A criminal empire that has only a handful of system but spread out in the galaxy with the ultimate goal of having the entire economy run on the criminal branches. (not just energy, but food, research, unity etc ...) Anyways, I'll wait patiently for your next run :)
Oh hell yeah, I've been jonesing for a new lathrix video

mind over matter is crazy strong if ur going tall if u get the covenant that increases output u get +50% output from telepaths on the planet u put the special building on on top of the other bonuses on my toxic god playthrough i had 80 tech per knight

yay! big fan of your stellaris series❤ more!!
Much love for the vids. Thankyou
I just bought Stellaris so these videos have been helping me a little to understand this overwhelming monster of a game, pretty nice.
The fallen empires hate you because of your crimminal branch offices. They are bugged and each branch office gives -10 opinion to EVERY empire, even fallen empires that can't have branch offices. Glad to see a criminal heritage playthrough, it's one of my favorite civics.
@momchilandonov
4 ай бұрын
Do you recall what was his 3rd civic pick? I am not sure it is visible in this long video :(. BTW this explains why I was constantly getting rivaled by one of the fallen empires when I was literally doing nothing bad and the game didn't bother explaining me why I was a rival for them...
full playthrough is the best, keep it up
I think you should try to see just how hard you can break a tall build. Go just wide enough to get all the various OP things, a couple of the special worlds and special megaprojects, but other than that stay super small so you can have insane research.
Love these videos!!
Very good video! I love Megacorps, and criminal heritage is such a unique sub-sub-empire that it's so often overlooked. Always a great time though!

How can playing as Megacorp with Criminal Heritage handle another Megacorp which have already built Holdings and branches almost everywhere?! I am trying this build and it's so shitty that I cannot get Casus Belli on the Megacorp! Getting more fleet power is hard since the enemy almost always is in a federation already. Is the fleet power checking only the empire power or increases it if it's in a federation?
Thanks for the video Lath :)
Very interesting! Thanks for the video.
Really enjoy your Stellaris content!
These stellaris runs are something I'd love to continue seeing!

Replying before I forget. Thank you so much and hope you enjoyed the video! ^^
Neat vid! My last play of Stellaris before I quit due to the 2.0 update was a single system run. Gameplay was different then and my rule was that I could build stations to hold territory and extract resources, but couldn't have pops outside the home system (the head canon being humans couldn't survive space warping). I ended up winning and controlling a good quarter of the galaxy, but I did have the same issue you did with having only one shipyard making it take F-O-R-E-V-E-R to rebuild losses.
Such a fun playthrough to watch. Pretty insane.
Good run, so much has changed in Stellaris!
YESSSSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING SO LOMG FOR MORE STELLARIS
I was just thinking hmm it’s been a long time since I started watching your channel… I looked back l to old robocraft playlists, ark, the weird work horror game and now I feel old. I genuinely do not believe there are many KZreadrs that I have watched for 7 years, albeit it’s been on and off depending on the series as I’ve grown and if my interest fades but man those robocraft videos were an inspiration (also got into From the Depths and funnily enough stellaris cause of your videos on them!)
