I think that Gallade would have been better for two reasons: (1) unique Fighting coverage + Swords Dance; (2) it is a physical attacker unlikely most of your pokemons ===> in my opinion, a rerun is mandatory.

Couldn't you have technically caught a Blipbug on route 1 after you got to Slowpoke? Could have made the whole Team Yell fiasco a whole lot easier. I'm not sure if you do later in the run, But Blipbug was right there

IK I'm late to the party but his ruleset wouldn't allow him to USE Blipbug until it evolved... he's still a bit of a fool for not catching one of course, but Slowpoke was the first pokemon he could use right away

If Blipbug was on the same route as Slowpoke then no unless blip bug is on any other route as well. And you can use blipbug later once the level Cap allows it to become Orbettle. The same happens with all Pokemon who gains the Nuzlockes type in their evolution of their pre-evos don't have it yet.

It has been suggested that Slowpoke are actually smart but are in a such deep meditative state they become unaware of their surroundings.

“Some people have book smarts, some have street smarts, and Slowpoke has… a nice smile” That made me laugh way harder than it should’ve XD

I ain't ever cried from a Nuzlocke until I see Gardevoir go down! :( I never realized she was my fav pokemon since Emerald which is the first game I've ever played. I had to get her in the 4th generation to truly understand her power. Gardevoir is great as a Psychic/Fairy type. She's gotten me out of some pretty tough situations especially beating Cynthia with moonblast. I'm so excited she's in Scarlet and Violet lol

Psychic types are honestly one of the best types.

Gardevoir fell, so sad, she's one of my favorite pokemons, and deaths in nuzlockes makes me very sad. Great video tho, I love psychic type!

Most of the time I always go with fire type starters Charizard being my fav but in Galar m always a member of GrookeyGang. Also in Sinnoh my fav starter is Turtwig and in Johto it's Chikorita

@@mosunmolaadebomi6592 because gallade is a gen 4 pokemon and gardevoir is a gen 3 pokemon. it seemed like they wanted gallade to be the male equivilant and gardevoir the female equilvilant but since there were already male gardevoirs they couldnt change it back or something idk

With Fairy types, Psychic got a buff against Dark types since most of them can use some Fairy moves. With some even gaining the Fairy type themselves.

I always pick gardevoir over gallade. It has nothing to do with stats, but the first pokemon game I ever played was X, and the mega evolution of gardevoir made such a huge impact on my 14 year old brain, it instantly became one of my favorite pokemon.

In this scenario either Gardevoir or Gallade is viable because they both gain a type to deal with your arch nemesis dark types.

You could’ve gotten a Blipbug encounter in Route 1 because it evolves into Dottler before the first gym, which gains a secondary psychic typing, and with an evolite can become bulky very quickly.

In Gen 8, Synchronize ability has 100% chance of the wild Pokémon having the same nature.

With all the new shiny runs just popping up in the last week, it is good to see a challenge run. Plus it is Keegan J so you know it’s good. Edit: seriously, was there some sort of cult among poketubers to just hunt shinies? Morty, Andrew Collete, Twig, Darkrai, andQuinn Rueledge

my favorite of the two is gallade, personally.

I got a chalenge for you, The opposite of "One Type Only" team, You can only have upto 1 of each type. And Dualtypes take up BOTH slots,

I would really like to see a steel type HC nuzlocke in this game.

I would choose gallade for when it evolves it will have access to brick break

On my first ever play through of Pokémon shield, I was sweeping the ghost gym with eevee, since it knew bite and was immune to ghost moves. Then, right before The gym leader, it evolved into an Espeon, and cursed me to fail the ghost gym 4 times in a row. (At the time I was stupid and didn’t know which eeveelution it was about to become, nor did I know you could cancel evolution. Ever since, Espeon has sat in the PC.

I love the fact that hatterene and gardevoir are on the same party considering how hatterene does not get along with gardevoir

Giggled at the Ralts line named Wally. Everytime I see a mono psychic run using Gardevoir though it seems a bit unfair because the fairy typing basically fixes the issue with dark types.
