I went from 300 to 115 in my teens myself, and was diagnosed with an ED as well. It’s good to hear somebody talking about it and having succeeded such as you. I know this vid is old, but Erik you are an inspiration to me. Thank you!
I've noticed that a lot of folks with EDs or issues with food gravitate towards these types of eating channels or mukbang channels for many different reasons so thanks for bringing them up 🙏 very easy to fall into unhealthy habits and a bad relationship with food because of what society pushes so making sure that your yourself are listening to your body and minds needs is so much more important than listening to what folks on the outside say you should be doing.

I been binging these video's for a few days now and this one hit a bit different with that message, really nice to hear your story but your message was so on point. Society puts expectations on people and its wrong, people should be happy in their skin and happy mentally, I honestly believe everyone deserves to be happy, regardless if that's eating a cheeky big mac on Friday after Work/School or just enjoying a salad with your friends/family.

ive sat and watched several vidoes, im regretting this one, why im stuffed and i feel sick seeing you eat a lot of food. not becuse of you your great its just the food amount. i felt sick looking at my dessert as well. the food looks so good ive been drooling and feeiling sick. im proud of you for talking about your eating disorder and how youve overcame it. it makes me wish that i could be gentler on myself and my body, im slolwy being more confident but going from being slightly overweight as a teen to dropping like 3 sizes so from a 12 to an 8 back to the 12 i still feel the need tohide my body. thank you for making me feel like i dont need to restirct my food, judt balnce the meals
I love the "Do You Know" and the little fun facts in the corner!
Erik has the most "No" moments but yet he goes forward....Respect!!!
Oh wow.. I didn't realize how similar we are. I was born Nov 93' and had gotten to the heaviest I ever was when I was around 19 years old at 311lbs. 8, almost 9 years later and I'm down to 171. Keep up the inspirational content and awesome challenges!

Hi Erik! I love how raw and honest you are in this video. The message you delivered was really perfectly made. In 2017, I hit rock bottom and was weighing almost 200 lbs... I made the change and was able to lose 55 lbs in 11 months (it wasn't planned, it sort of happened). until I reached 135 LBS and all of the sudden that was not enough anymore... I wanted to be 120 LBS even though I was already lean as hell, it just wasn't enough. the next few years I tried being on the "bulk" and "lean" cycle again and as I reach 26 this year, one thing my personal journey has thought me is that no matter what the scale says, the love has to come from within me. It is something I struggle with daily, as I have gained weight again (40 LBS) and it's hard to come into terms with it. Right now I am just trying to live a balanced lifestyle and be happy with what I have now and make progress not strive for perfection. I had to comment just because your message really resonated with me. I am glad to see that you are genuinely happy with yourself and are able to maintain a balanced lifestyle and continue in your journey. Greetings from Florida! I hope you and your little family are healthy and safe. Take care. :)

Sometimes people can struggle to achieve W. O. W moments, it's common, it happens to everyone and it's not a big deal
It’s amazing how far you’ve come. Well done ❤
Love your Channel, love your honesty 🤗blessings to you in all you do👍🏼
oddly enough vidoes like this help me with not eating these types of foods, like fills in the void somewhat, so keep going with them bro!

Thank you for sharing ✌ I almost starved to death, but these stories are making me feel better ❤
You're so right that happiness is _way_ beyond weight! Thank U!!!
Thank you Eric for this video. I was obese when I was 11 then I starved myself after being made fun of. I suffered from anorexia and it took my child hood away too. I'm glad somebody else can relate and you are so right. I appreciate you and thank you.

Your channels so comforting as somebody who’s had an ed since 13, you’ve helped me so much
I have an eating disorder, I have recently been diagnosed with anorexia and I’m finding it very hard because I don’t think I do, I love to stick to routines and I like what I like but ive been that way my whole life, I just what to ask how do you know if it’s a problem if someone is telling it is and it’s how you’ve always been ? I have gone a little extreme and haven’t had a hot meal in like a year or even more but I’m a crisps ( chips) kind of person, your videos do help me a lot and I like how you talk about your own experience, I’m struggling with shakes the doctors have giving me to take because it’s not in my normal routine x

It's hard. I know. I hear you. It's so scary. It felt like my mind was taken up by calories, food, what am I gonna eat today, tomorrow, oh the shake that doesn't fit in do I have to eat it. Deviating from routine and stepping out of your comfort box can be so terrifying. As soon as I did though, it felt like I had let go. Maybe not right away, but gradually. I still had the thoughts, I still had the fixation, but it became easier and easier to challenge and ignore them. It became easier and easier for me to be happy again, which is something I thought my previous routine would bring me, but I was so so wrong. I felt free again. I felt like I was living again. I want you to know that it'll be hard now, scary, it'll make you feel so emotional, like 10 times worse than you had before, but it's part of the process. It's part of letting go. Letting out your tears, anger, frustration, is letting out your fixation, thoughts, and obsession. You will be free. And isn't that what everyone wants? To be free. Imagine going out with your friends and not worrying, or reaching to eat something and not putting it down right away because, no I shouldn't. You aren't going to be tied down anymore. You can start to live as YOU. Keep fighting! I know you can do it! I believe in you!
