I have been an inkbrush (and brushes in general) main for about a year and a half as of now, and I think a kit that would help the inkbrush’s aggressive playstyle would be a kit with torpedo & Kraken royale.

Why do I hear so many people wanting wall on Tri-Stringer. I don't really think it would need it to defend itself from other backlines since it already is one of the longest range weapons in the game and also I think the weapon might be a little to slow in terms of its charge time to really utilize the wall. I personally would like to see beacon on it, because it doesn't really need a bomb cuz the main weapon is already like a bomb, so some utility sub would be well suited for the Tri-Stringer(Line Marker and point sensor might also work well on Bow) but I'd like beacon on it to make up for the horrid stage design. As a backliner it is really akward to push over a one-way drop (and there are way too many of those) because you cannot really retreat from them once things get worse and having a beacon on the main defending spot could really help out a lot. As for the Special I think the synergy Wavebreaker provides is insane, having damaged and located squids just remotely in range of a Tri-Stringer is an absolute death-sentence for the enemy team. Another funny kit would be something that outputs even more chip-damage than the main weapon already does, like burst bomb Rain/Missiles but I can absolutely see why Nintendo would never put such a ridiculous kit into the game, it ain't Splatoon 1 after all :p

My go-to weapon is either a flingsa-roller or an areospray-rg. They balance sub and special flawlessly, while inking as much as you can. A kit I would like would be a flingsa-roller with autobomb and booyah bomb as a special

I’ve been playing stamper since the beginning of splatoon 3, and I think a supportive kit would be really fun for the weapon. Autobomb would be good for a cheap lethal bomb that could be used for chip to combo with the vertical slash or a way to locate enemies. Wave breaker would be a great special for it to find enemies, combo with chip damage, and help fight with its team. Another potential kit could be fizzy bomb and ink storm. Fizzy bomb would be incredibly good to combo with the slashes and for mobility, and rain would be great for fighting and for chip damage to finish off opponents that got away after a 70 damage charge slash. splat2 tri was some of the most fun ive ever had with a weapon before and after it was broken

I love how interconnected the splatoon community is. It is incredible to me that even though The Stone may not be as popular as some of the creators shown here, they still accepted his invitation to voice their opinions on ideal weapons. It shows a level of community that doesn't really seem present in many other games. Also my ideal kit would be burst bomb kraken undercover brella. It'd be a slayer/skirmisher hybrid as opposed to its current kit that is a support/skirmish hybrid.

In a Toyoben video, top player Ice requested the far more traumatising jet squelcher with burst bomb and tenta missiles.

Is it just me or does everyone want Splat bomb-Kraken Royale on their weapon? I mean I want it too on the Luna blaster. I wouldn’t care if it would be like 220p I just need it.

I'd love to see a kit for Big Swig that keeps the idea of it being the painter of rollers while also giving it more offensive capabilities since it lacks the ability to kill with a roll since it's instead designed to paint. For this I would give it Burst Bomb which is a good bomb to paint on its own but would also be able to combo well with a flick for a unique kill and for a special I know people hate it but I would want Reefslider. I just love it myself, one of my favorite specials and it's this big burst of ink which fits with this idea of an aggressive/painter type weapon

i really hope reeflux gets burst bomb and wave breaker. wave would help alot with finding enemies to just one shot with, and burst would be the best chip damage bomb for it due to its really large radius, plus it kinda allows you to locate people using the sound, making it easier to find people over walls and stuff like that. oh also please give undercover any chip damage sub and inkstorm JUST ANY CHIP DAMAGE SUB PLEASE WE NEED IT

I love the main weapon but the kit makes it play so lame. Splat bomb kraken would be my kit for it

Really wanna see explosher get a kit in the near future, partially because I would love to see it with a different design. Thinking it could be Forge themed, with the silver bars being black and the jerry can itself being orange. As for actual gameplay though, wave breaker as a special would be super fun and could fuse together its current sub and special (although it would lack the painting and damage over time of the storm). As for subs, I'm not really sure, odds are it will end up with sprinkler again lol. Beacons could be fun, as it would allow the weapon to help maintain your team's position while supporting with artillery fire from the back.

Gus and Zorconic really hit the nail on the head with their tri-slosher kits. I'd love to see either.

For my dream kit I am a strong believer in Torpedo Octobrush. The 60 damage of a flying/rolled hit would be great for an up-close combo with a perfect swing hit, which deals 40 damage, and even the 30 damage Torp hit makes it a 2 shot. There's also the difficulty of fighting a brush swinging at you and a Torpedo at the same time for my opponents which I really want. And of course it can locate people which would be like the Autobomb it had before, but with much more offensive versatility, so I think Nintendo might do it again to reference it but change things up in a fun way. I hope they do. Hopefully Kraken or Trizooka for the special, either would be amazing, Kraken cause I think it would be great for the positions Octobrush wants to be in, like when sharking, (and still, Kraken is absolutely rivetting to use anyway no matter what weapon) and Zooka to threaten the evil snipers with the holy one shot blast, which Octobrush doesn't have normally. (both of these happened in Splat 1 haha please let us play it again Nintendo). Extra optional part about other possible fun subs, mostly bombs. About other bombs, Splat Bomb would probably be the best sub for the weapon with the long distance pressure that the weapon doesn't have already and other regular bomb utility, but Inkbrush already got that and may be redundant. Burst Bomb would still make me freak out if it got it with it having a lightning fast kill combo (direct burst 60 brush swing 40, instant action after sub throw) and it just being a cool combo (burst + anything is a cool combo tbh..) but it's so difficult to do and would probably just be too similar to Carbon Deco in terms of role and feel. Burst is still the most fun sub in the game to use by far Imo so I'd still enjoy it a lot. Fizzy would probably be very awesome for this weapon, it'd have the fast trail to swim through, faster than the brush roll, also able to paint and pressure from a distance kinda like Splat Bomb which Octobrush can't do. Autobomb I think the location is useful though Idk much about what makes Autobomb useful for it, but I'd be happy if it got it anyway. Curling would be very disappointing please no, all it gives is a trail and for way too much ink, especially with the main's ink efficiency buff and Painbrush already has it. Splash Wall... lol no. And finally if it got Beakon I would be fine especially if it got a cool special (krakooka) although I know a bomb would help much more, I did enjoy Beakon still on S2 OB Nouveau but would rather something else. Top 6 I want most on the weapon 1 - Torpedo 2 - Fizzy Bomb 3 - Burst Bomb 4 - Splat Bomb 5 - Beakon 6 - Autobomb wow did you read it all? you... actually got through this A rank player's octobrush fanfiction? tysm for that, bye

I'd honestly love a new kit for blobblober! Im not a comp player, so this kit would probably suck in every way but I'd like to see Blobblober have torpedo and ultrastamp. You could locate people with the torpedo, do ship damage ig or smt and then splat em with the ultrastamp if ya haven't already used the blobs from the blobblober!

I'd love a dynamo roller with line marker and booyah bomb. Line marker being the cheapest sub in the game would be great for an ink hungry weapon like dynamo. It would also give long distance pressure, can be used like a low budget burst bomb for mobility, and, with how finicky the hotboxes are, a location effect to help with aim (though that's more of a tertiary effect). Booyah bomb was so much fun on the Kensa dynamo from Splatoon 2, not only would it be awesome to have it back but it's a special that actually works with the weapon, unlike the current tacticooler.

Octobrush with either fizzy or burst bomb plus kraken, or even keeping zipcaster, would make for one hell of an annoying slayer.

I’ve been really enjoying the big swig express and got it to 4 stars. I think fizzy would be a really good combo sub and rain could stay for that chip damage and painting

My DREAM kits are Splatana stamper: fizzy bomb and ink storm for a more supportive kit that can paint much more. Tetra dualies: burst bomb and kraken or super chump for high aggression. Splatana wiper: splat bomb for poking and inkjet for cool combos

My dream weapon would probably be an - E-liter (3k most likely) -Angle shooter (they can damage/kill but can also tracker enemies which is good for both and and teamates) -Tenta missles (It can force people oit of hiding spots so can shot em, but also track while active and can help prevent any sneak attacks towards me) This kit will probably never happen, but a squid can dream

my dream kit for undercover brella is burst bomb and ink storm; burst bomb is fast enough to be used as a poking tool without sacroficing too much downtime for undercovers shield, plus it can easily make up for slow firerate in dangerous situations. i was debaiting on wether i should put wave breaker or not instead but i decided against it for a few reasons, one wave breaker can be jumped over and avoided if its placed on low ground; two wave breaker can be destroyed and cut its damage/location output short (location would be useful to avoid attacks from behind, its just due to the fact that this speical has more cons than inkstorm).

Personally speaking, I've been using tri stringer for a few weeks now and I think it'd work well with something like point sensor or burst bomb for the sub weapon and as for the special maybe Ink Storm or wave breaker

I don’t think people will agree with me but I want a hydra with splash wall to protect in while charging and missiles to give it a fighting chance against E-liter’s

An ultra-aggressive Big-Swig Roller: The ultimate suicide build would consist of two elements: Burst Bomb, to provide better insta-kills and mobility, and the TactiCooler, so you can abuse the stupendous painting capabilities of the Big-Swig to spam the instant-resurrection. Spawn, go in, die, and repeat as much as you want while the enemy team wastes continuous resources against your Holy War.

I mainly play salmon run so this dream kit might not be the most balanced but I also just made this for what I thought would be the most fun for a support weapon. Galactic splattershot nova Sub: torpedo Special: super chump This weapon has one job and one job only. To be a big distraction to the enemy team. While the enemy team are focused on dealing with your torpedos and super chumps, your team can focus on the objective or splitting the enemy team.

my main is dualie squelchers, I'd love burst bomb to help with the already poor ink efficiency, and booyah bomb to help with paint cover and mobility.

My personal dream kit is splat brella with fizzy bomb and super chumps. Fizzy bomb makes up for so many weaknesses; it's low cost (bc brella's bad ink efficiency), paints well(bc brella's average paint), pokes (to deal with disadvantage), and it's a movement tool (to help it keep ahead of its teammates), and on top of that it can also combo with the 81 damage hit. Super chumps allows it to keep its forward momentum, gives you paint to fight with, combos even better, and when you fight within the chumps the enemy has to deal with two things at once (you and the chumps), which, if you know basic brella gameplay, is great for the brella. This kit also has an unintentional zones niche I just realized. I would love to have this kit because I miss being able to use the main weapon in tandem with your special like both kits could in splatoon 2.

I would like to see a Splattershot Jr. with Splat Bombs and Tacticooler, I like all of the benefits of Tacticooler and it adds more of a predominant supportive role.

I main splatana stamper, and the perfect kit is already in the game with vanilla stamper, but another option for a dream kit is Fizzy/Wavebreaker. Fizzy has some combo potential, and the wavebreaker provides cheap damage to make the vertical flick an oneshot while spotting enemys and controlling area. It would be PERFECT for zones

Fizzy and Killer Wail on the Splattershot Jr sounds super fun!!

My dream kit is an L-3 Nozzlenose with Splat Bomb and Inkjet. L-3 really needs its sub to help it with fights, which is why burst is great for it, wall was ok for it, and curling is terrible for it. Splat bomb is the 2nd best sub for fighting, the chip damage from its splash can combo with a burst fire, and it also helps cover L-3's weakness in dealing object damage. Inkjet is not only the coolest special in all of Splatoon, but also fit perfectly on L-3 as shown on the L-3 D in Splatoon 2. I have no idea how likely this is, but it's my dream kit.

heavy splatling with litterally any bomb and rainmaker would be really great ! or Heavy splatling with the spawning place thingy and bubble for a more shieldy way !

I want a nautilus with suction bomb and tacticooler. The buff to run and swim speed with the quick respawn would allow for even more agression, and the bomb would be good for poking and forcing people into the open. Also love the idea of fizzy/booyah on Dynamo!!

Nautilus 79 with splat bomb and Kraken Royale. Splat bomb could be like a get off me tool. And Kraken Royale could be a distraction for pushes. Like you can get a kill or two, and then when the timer starts running out. You can get away and go back to that supportive position that Nautilus is used to.

My dream kit for blaster (I love blaster) is going to be burst bomb and trizoka

I just would die for splat duelies to have its Splatoon 2 kit again, I stopped maining them in Splatoon 3 because of the bad kit.

I've been maining them recently and yeah it's not a great kit. obviously Dualies want to be aggressive and you can't really get that with suction bomb. it's way to ink hungry for the weapon and you have to sit back a little to throw them in the spot you want so it's not great when youre up in everyone's face. crab has sort of the same problem too. you have to leave your more Frontline position to get in a good spot for crab that can leave empty gaps. don't get me wrong, it can still be a strongish kit, but it can have some major weaknesses. my dream kit for Dualies would be burst and kraken (try not to give every weapon kraken challenge lmao). I'm burst bomb would make up for inconsistencies in the main weapon itself and would make it's movement absolutely insane, and then you could pop kraken while you're already at the front lines. it's just pure aggression and I think it would be super fun to play, but I don't think they would ever add this in the game lol. that's just my take on the weapon and I could be wrong about a few things

I want Curling Bomb/Fizzy Bomb with Big Bubbler for Tetra Dualies to push it's aggro play style to the fullest without the kit being cracked such as Fizzy Kraken, Big Bubbler to protect the Tetra dualies while in the enemy base to shoot opposing players.

My custom kit for the dulies squelchers The sub is burst bomb. (My fav bomb period) Now as for the special, i want the triple ink strike. It pays like a homage to splat2 og splat dulies.

we need more aggressive kraken weapons, it's not terrible as a panic button for backlines, but the fact that it takes a long time to startup, can't be cancelled(plus long duration), and can be dodged makes it much worse for that in splatoon 3 as opposed to splatoon 1. I think the charge they gave it makes it a much better personal entry tool though, which is much better for frontline agressive type weapons, the only problem is that they gave all those weapons ultra stamp like right before kraken was added, which is ironic because ultra stamp (imo) is actually a much better panic button than splatoon 3's kraken. To be honest I think ultra stamp would fit range blaster much better than kraken. No doubt kraken would still be a fun callback, but if we're talking about the pure utility of making up for its close range weakness, ultra stamp is faster acting, much more consistent with its one shots, and you can end it way quicker after you're finished dealing with the person that got up close on you.

The funny thing is burst bomb/Kraken is like for many people one of the most desired kits. Many weapons would love that kit but also for many Kraken is just a very fun special so its logical that so many people want it as their favourite kits special. But tbh I'm no different my Favourite kit would be Shot - Burst bomb - Kraken or Missiles ( Dare to the fact that Missiles are unhealthy for the game that kit should better stay away and i would more like the Kraken because wouldn't also an absolute nightmare to fight against ) Also Something, the Video was pretty nice and the edits were really nice, like showing the patch notes or the Joke at the end. So nice if you will keep that

I love Luna Blaster but im not the biggest on Zip or Stamp, so my dreams of Fizzy + Storm are null. So instead i want Burst + Kraken on Luna because I am an evil individual

I know everyone is saying CRB is getting splat bomb and kraken, however I feel it might actually burst bomb kraken, being a combination of S1 CRB and S2 grim. Of course Nintendo also has splat bomb and missiles if they want to combine the 2 kits, but that means an extra missile weapon which everyone will hate. Though considering how little paint output range has, it could also work

I would like to have an hydra with fizzy bomb to help its movement and pocking, for the special i would either take chumps as it would reinforce the whole fighting from afar + support vibe i'm going for, or wave breaker could be cool too. For the slosher, well it already has a perfect kit! So i think i would like tribomb as a call back to precedent kits or burst bomb for combo pressure; for the special wave breaker or chumps would be a good support plus allow some combos or i would go for zipcaster for a all around more agressive kit. I hope i'm clear, english isn't my first language.

My main is the .96 Gal, has been since I got back into Splatoon 2. And if I were to give it a new kit I’d combine my old main of the Aerospray Silver (I forgot the name and I’m too lazy to go check) and give it suction bomb as a secondary and the special could be triple inkstrike. The suction bomb would allow me to more efficiently get around as it opens up spots for me to go to, as well as just being strong imo. And the Triple Inkstrike would force the enemies to move and it could allow me to pick them off as they’re running. Though I don’t think it’s very balanced it’s be what I’d want the most.

tbh, I really just mained all the weapons in splat3, but I think that the splatbrella could use a new kit, but not just any new kit, it needs one for offense, so I would give it burst bomb or curling bomb, burst bomb because this weapon needs a fast bomb that can combo with the main weapon, curling bomb for a new and kind of play style where if you let the shield fly off you could throw a curling bomb to follow up with it for an unexpected explosion at the end of the shield. ok for the second part of the kit I would give it inkstorm for another aggressive play style but the special that I personally want is the zipcaster, yes the zipcaster, I think it could be good for the weapon for getting in ya know, but this weapon is really bad where its at, even out side of kits so can we get some buffs for this weapon please.

One weapon kit is want is Reeflux 450, with fizzy and Booyah bomb. It’s be such a good weapon, Reeflux is pretty good as a turf inker, fizzy bombs something’s drive people crazy, and Booyah bomb because it’s Booyah bomb.

I really want a Jr with line marker because triple dart is funny and for special idk give it rain or something

I've been playing Mini Splatling since 2019 and I want the Mini Splatling to get Burst Bomb/Tenta Missile Burst Bomb is in my opinion the best sup weapon for mini because it can be used for mobility and it can combo on enemies. Tenta Missiles works so good with the Mini because it paints really fast meaning the Mini can be played Aggressively with Burst Bomb and Passively with Tenta Missiles (Yes this is the Vanilla kit from Splatoon 2)

Not to argue with Vicvillon, but for a Sloshing Machine, I think Killer Wail 5.1 would be a better special for it than Wave Breaker. I am saying this with Sloshing Machine in mind, Wave Breaker isn't bad at all, I even prefer Wave Breaker as a whole to Killer Wail. Killer Wail does chip damage and kills faster out of the two specials. It also has a location effect, even though the effect isn't as good or efficient as Wave Breaker's, it still can give away enemy locations to you and your team. With a weapon that just got its kill time nerfed just enough to really feel it in a fast-paced game like Splatoon 3, as somebody who mains 2 weapons with Wave Breaker and one weapon with Killer Wail and has at least 1 star with every kit currently in game, I can say it is very nice to switch to a weapon with a special that has you less attached to the hip, a special that doesn't take away your ability to use your main or sub weapon almost at all, especially if you're a mid to front line weapon. When comparing Wave Breaker to Killer Wail 5.1, I often compare the two kits: the Custom Splattershot Jr and the vanilla Inkbrush. Both are close-range mains with pretty aggressive kits. The key difference is that the Custom Jr is a supportive more skirmisher kit while the Inkbrush is a slayer. The playstyle, I think fits Sloshing Machine is a slayer. My argument isn't one special is better than the other. My argument is Sloshing Machine makes up for characteristics and properties that Wave Breaker has that Killer Wail doesn't have/does better, but Machine still benefits more from the properties that Killer Wail has that Wave Breaker doesn't have. But Wave Breaker wouldn't at all be a bad special or lack synergy with Sloshing Machine. Auto Bomb and Wave Breaker on Sloshing Machine is a good kit idea. Thankyou for listening.

To be honest, I have the exact same dream kit for the Octobrush just like The Bipedal Squid’s dream kit for it. But for my other dream kit of mine would be Nautilus with Suction Bomb and Crab Tank, because Suction worked pretty well for Nautilus back in Splatoon 2 with it having Suction Bomb + Inkjet. But instead of Inkjet because we already have Ballpoint with Inkjet in the game already and it would’ve play too similar to that weapon in terms of it’s playstyle as a Splatling with a Inkjet special, why not Crab Tank? Because I’m not a huge fan of any of the current Crab Tank weapon’s in the game rn and I would love if any of my favourite main weapons in the game gets the special, plus we don’t have a Splatling with a Crab Tank special yet and Nautilus is right there waiting for it to happen.

Just give Sprinkler/Booyah to a weapon that can do Aerospray's job but better, and it'll be perfect for me. Maybe Sploosh, or Splash, or Splattershot. I just really like painting and minding my own business and avoiding direct combat. Usually, at least. I'm also the Sprinkler's strongest soldier, so changing the sub is out of the question for me.

I want burst bomb zipcaster explosher Would it be balanced? No Would it be good? Probably Would it get explo to be nerfed into the ground? Idk maybe Do I care? No, I want the funny burst bomb explo and the free ink tank refill of zipcaster

My dream kit is the Wasabi Splattershot with Burst Bomb and Inkjet

Bloblobber with Burst Bomb (for mobility)and Crab Tank (because it would be funny) or Kraken (to escape close quarters struggles)

i want fizzy tacticooler kensa tetras. i wanted kensa glooga to be tetras in 2 as well, because it fits the color theme, i like fizzy, and fizzy tac tetras have some unique synergy

so basically everybody wants bombs on their weapons. yawn

As a splatter shot mean I kind of prefer inkjet instead of triple ink strike

Personally I want the Nautilus 79 to come back, maybe within the next few seasons. And it doesn’t have to be on the same kit either, maybe keep the suction bomb but change the special to trizooka or a support/aggressive special. Competitive and ranked players from s2 know what’s up

Zekko dynamo with burst and jet And kensa 96 with splat bomb and tri strike are my dream kits

I would adore a Flingza with Splash Wall and Kraken Royale. The S2 vanilla Flingza was hecka fun in its role of interrupting fights and playing around Wall, even with its underwhelming (imo) Splat Bomb Launcher, so slap on a special that lets it survive better and safely dive in/out when it wants, and I think it’s a winning combo.

My dream kit is heavy splatling, wall or burst bomb, and Crab because more dakka.

Im gonna cry until my tears taste like baja blast if they did NOT add Enperry dualies

8 months...oh who cares. anyway my dream kit would be a hydra with fizzy-bomb/torpedo, as both of them can deal major chip damage along with being the same range as the hydra itself. and for the special it would be inkredible to see tacticooler or tenta missiles on the scene, because some people get the middle finger and some Deserve it. another kit would be mini-splattling with point-sensor/torpedoes and booyah bomb or tenta missiles. why yes, I am a psychopath thank you for asking. also maybe try gianluca next? he has some interesting ideas.
