Yeah I'm about 1500 or so MMR in casual and only champ 1. So the guys hitting clips against 300 and 600 mmr casual lobbies aren't that exciting imo.

Additionally, some of the higher rank shots the opponents didn't even jump or move so they're kinda the same vibe as the 300MMR at that point IMO. But you gotta appreciate a great shot.

I don't think a lot of players understand just how easy low mmr casual is. Any clip hit below like 1000 mmr is essentially freeplay. Don't believe me? Make a new account and play a few games in 600-700 mmr (which is where you start out at on a new account). I bet even diamonds would have a field day at that mmr because of how easy it is. Now that's not to say that the clips that are hit aren't impressive, it just makes a lot more sense to treat them as if they were hit in freeplay, and not in game

all of this is lies lol, i frequently play at 300 mmr and the opponents chase me and its not like you can just do whatever you want. its like a 1 in a 100 chance you'll get an opponent who is literally braindead. once you get in the air yes they do struggle a bit but its not freeplay at all lol. and, once you get towards the 600 mmr mark there are a lot of smurfs who are tryharding to get their xp up to go into ranked and also the players get even better

I watched it back .25x speed and you're right. In real time it almost looks like the game registered the boost wrong then corrects itself but yes the boost 100% goes from 81 back to 82 somehow. The guy is playing in a 400mmr lobby though so I wouldn't be alarmed if he also likes to cheat. You probably have poor morals if you like clipping on people with 2hrs played.

because it's a freestyling competition, and drku's shot was not freestyle, it's a simple shot if we're talking about freestyling. so i'm glad it didn't win just because it was on appjack, here what matters is the creativity of the shot. while drku's shot would've won a "best shot competition", it certainly doesn't deserve to win a "best freestyle shot competition", given there are shots like oliguin's and iggy's.

They should be disqualified, clipping against a plat with a quadruple flip reset . Yeah, nice shot, but that's annoying, even in casual. Rank clipping has more merit to it.

the Faith_rl1 (900 casual) -im 1490 something and normally main 1500 i gues casual mmr dont matter to most people and it doesnt to me either, all im saying is ive been in 1600 and almost 1700 and ive never seen A ACTUAL 400-1700 do 6 heli-resets so doing that on whats considered to be like a gold or platinum mmr is just not worth clipping and sending in, if you can do 6 heli-resets youve clearly got more hours in training then the average champ player has in the full game. :)

they ff or lose on purpose to play against much lower ranked opponents because to them freestyling in casual is more important than a newbie trying to learn the game and have fun

Next time maybe only the clips that where hit in their own rank should count.. good shots but hitting those clips in 400 mmr casual games as a gc or higher is like beating a child in armwresting as an adult and being proud of it XD temple is the best example for hitting good clips in high lvl lobbys!

How’re all these guys so low in casual? I’m not nearly as good but I sit around 1700-1900 mmr

i just had a feeling drku was going to lose against iggy dont get me wrong very nice shot but against someone who was good it wouldve been saved i wouldve voted drku but not too mad that iggy won it was a very clean shot respect for iggy

Maybe next time, don't put in names for the shots, just have chat vote on clip 1 or clip two, that way there's no bias and you'll have a better chance at people truly voting on just what clip was better
