" Thousands of reverts coming back to Islam ..." Some of those who return to Islam do so because of fear. All too often churches are attacked in Nigeria, Uganda and Kenya.. Nigeria has been ranked # seven in persecuting Christians. When Christians villages are burned down over and over people convert to Islam to avoid these attacks.. This is common. If there were no persecution in these countries I doubt if the number of converts would be as much.

​​@@oscara1471 if you're sincere and have a sound mind, why would you initially deny there is a media tirade against Islam but then suggest its because of terrorism? Also saying that its personal to you because your mum was near an attack. So the media brain washing clearly worked because you associate those attacks with Islam but at the same time deny the media is negative towards Islam. Shamsi was not wrong for being skeptical of you. Your approach is quite flippant and you appear to want to argue for the sake of it. Why not instead reflect on whether there is a creator or not. That's the main point. Once you realise this life couldn't just be a random series of events that came from nothingness, then you will eventually find Islam. No other religions hold up to scrutiny.

​@OscarA1 Mate you are an intelligent person, but your answers prove that you are fighting your demons, rather than learning, I know you are too young and you didn't had so many experiences to build enough knowledge about Islam, you have to use your intellect to go over your perception of Christianity God! Where this image of a weak God has grown up with you since you were a little boy. You can't find Allah through a Christianity lens, I know you've mentioned that you are agnostic! And I truly believe that was because you didn't accept the weak God,. Look to simplify my words, If you want to be happy and grounded ask Allah sincerely for the right path. This life is nothing , yesterday I was playing around as a kid today I'm 30 years old and I don't know if I will live 30 years again ( bytheway this 30 years was like a dream , very fast ). I was struggling with my faith for about 2 years, racked with doubts, sometimes I could not get to sleep thinking about it, but 3 years ago I asked a Christian on a youtube video comment section "where is the Trinity mentioned in the Old Testament"? He answered me, it is implied in Isaiah 48:16, I was sceptical but I used my smartphone to communicate on youtube with my left hand, and used my right hand single handedly to open up the Bible to look up this verse, I opened the page at random, it was Isaiah chapter 48, the fingertip on my index finger landed at random as I opened the Bible on verse 16, this is I believe God showing me, out of all the pages my fingertip lands on the very verse, and this is not a page I opened up before, as sometimes a page, on any book, can naturally open up on a page opened up frequently, but this page had not been opened before.

So the second he tries to question Shamsi's talking point he is called insincere. Basically shamsi is telling him "you can't question me". Because if you do he just devalues you by saying you are insincere so there is no point in answering your critique of his point.

Hyper skeptical is a term youtube dawah people invented to invalidated criticism they cannot answer. Do you know how rigorous the testing that knew drugs go through is? Trials upon trials and lots of research. Would you take medicine from scientists and researchers who were not "hyper skeptic"? No. Would you drive a car that didn't go through rigorous testing? No. So why do you have a problem with someone asking a couple questions about the validity islam
