I Am The MST - The Partners: A Mountains to Sea Trail Documentary
The Mountains to Sea Trail simply would not exist today were it not for the vital partnerships that have been formed with it along the way. Sometimes it takes reaching out with an open hand to make things happen and that's exactly what happened countless times over the past 45 years to create this trail that we all love!
"I Am The MST" is a 4 part documentary series highlighting the Mountains to Sea Trail that spans across the state of North Carolina and the people that make up the community surrounding it!

Onwards!
It is wonderful to see some of the faces and hear their comments about how the MST has been built and what possibilities are instore for the coastal crescent for the future. I see the momentum building with enthusiastic volunteers,

For sure Mike!
My wife and I have been so impressed with this mini series and the companion podcasts! We’ve been hiking the MST sections in our area for the past couple years but it’s inspiring us to want to get out there and hike even more of this amazing trail. Thank you so much for creating this project and we are looking forward to what y’all come up with next! 😁

Thank you! What you just described was exactly what we set out to accomplish. There is so much about this trail that folks don't know (including me until I took on this project). Thanks for watching!
Really love how each video identifies such distinct but necessary pieces of the MST puzzle - it only works when all of the pieces are there. Excellent job - thanks Austin and Jester!

"Distinct but necessary"...well put! There is so much that goes into a trail that we hope this series brings to light to give folks a deeper appreciation for it. Thanks for watching!
I can’t overstate just how well done this series is. I’ve also been listening to the podcast series.

Thanks Squidly! Some of the Alabama crew were featured heavily in the b-roll of this episode. Maybe we need to get the whole mafia up here!

For sure! Team work makes the dream work!
7 years for permission and a document to get signed and only 5 years for statewide construction, yep that sounds like the government. Great installment again! Looking forward to the next one.

Government efficiency at its best! Being that was one of the first segments I hiked, that story specifically gave me a great appreciation for the work that goes on behind the scenes to make things happen. Thanks for watching!
