I'm literally almost crying, the fact that they would kill their dog instead of putting him in a shelter... and how Dan said he wanted to shoot him.... If you have the audacity to want to shoot your own dog, it's pretty clear you never loved them. I am such a dog lover, and care so much about all my dogs, and it's just heartbreaking to see people like them own a dog, but not care about it at all

I’m so glad you talked about this. As someone who has taken in a severely abused very aggressive 10 year old dog, I know first hand that love and good training can help a dog be calm and become social. When I first got my dog walking her was so stressful, she just wanted to attack everyone. With daily work she ended up making friends. It was amazing to see her transform. The aggression never fully left but she made huge strides! Bowser wasn’t very aggressive and they said it was a small mark he left on their son. He didn’t maul him. These people are disgusting. After being subscribed to them since Nikki started KZread I’m disheartened it took this long to see who they really are. I immediately unsubscribed. Also, The Hunane Society put out a statement saying nobody in the network spoke with Nikki and they wouldn’t have suggested putting him down.

Yes I agree with this so much! I feel like people want their boundaries to be respected but they never seem to understand an animal has boundaries and they have a right to have those respected like anyone. If they had taught their child boundaries around the dog the bite could of been prevented. But also to the vet or place that did euthanize him need to be held accountable as well. Like imagine how many poor animals this could of happened to. The vet had a responsibility to direct them in a different direction instead of the disgusting decision they made. I find that the dog probably in no was was aggressive and tbh their actions lead to the occurrence. They could have done something to prevent the situation. If they knew he was food aggressive, teach the child not to touch and pull food from his mouth, feed him in a separate area he can eat undisturbed. I know their child is young and it hard to teach them a lot of boundaries when their young but there was still step as parents they could of taken, that they were quite frankly probably to lazy to do.

Tiffany and Lauren are great examples of someone who speaks out of their thoughts and opinions of being a dog owner. If someone was to be a dog owner or for any other pet owner, treat your pet as if they’re an actual kid so they can interact with other pets or people, learn and face new skills plus challenges during their journey in life. :)

Pets are like family.. you wouldn't put down your kid just cause they kicked you , or scratched you in the face.

I had a similar situation with my family dog my dog was trained but something just happened with him my dog bit my ear the side of head and bit my sister above the eye so my parents decided for our family safety to put him down and I think. my parents decision was fine

Unless my dog was sick and suffering beyond any chance of getting better, I couldn't imagine ever putting him down. People who throw their pets away lightly have a character flaw. You're 100% right to be upset.

I had to put my dog down only because she was suffering-cancer, heart failure, and so much other stuff 😔 it still hurts me so bad that I did that but it was for the best. She’s not suffering anymore. But for what Nikki did, that is horrible. Rehome the dog or get training!

Brianna's innovative idea of gluing carpet onto her wooden floor should have gotten higher benchmarks than that really cute and very fluffy bench in front of her bed.

Meg had the room before Brianna and I think that megs style is very eclectic and old fashion in not the best way. So she did a lot of damaging things and didn’t bother to fix the damage or pay for the damage.

Always, ALWAYS fasten your dog in the car with dog's belt. In case of an accident (even if you drive safely you can have one, it can be someone else's fault), Zoe is going to have really serious damages which can cause death. If you love your dog, be a responsible mom. + I completely agree with you with this dog drama. I have adopted 8-year old dog from a shelter and I can ensure that it wasn't too late for him. His our world now 💙

Thank you for speaking out on this horrendous situation! This dog did what dogs do if not trained the correct way. I know this because I have a pittbull and a child. He has never and will never hurt my daughter because he and she was taught from the time we got him what was ok and what was not.

they didn't train their little animal - their son - to be gentle and good with that amazing creature.

I literally got a puppy on New Years day this year.. So I haven't had him for very long, but I couldn't imagine doing that. He's family. Watching there video I saw fake tears, and her sipping down her latte then pretending to be sad. And him saying he'd put Bowser down "old yeller" style broke me. You can't have a dog for 9 years and just say that. It's terrible what happened to that dog. They have a million subscribers and couldn't post anything about asking someone to take him? The whole thing triggers me so much

This situation pisses me off. I have a 7 month old and a French bulldog. I’ve taught my dog boundaries with my baby and I’m teaching my child (as she starts to understand) boundaries with my dog. So my dog is treated with respect and to avoid something like this happening. Nikki just found any excuse to put Bowser down and I’m convinced it was just convenient to put him down rather than trying to do something for him. They’ve failed not only as owners but parents too! Kids need to be taught how to behave around dogs and need to be taught to respect dogs and they aren’t just toys

I do have family in the Bay Area and i have an active 80 year old grandma who still drives and shops by herself so it definitely freaks me out so I get the feeling ♥️ I try to stay positive and overall try to think the best about society

If your dog is attacking your kid because it misbehaved cause you haven’t taught your kid how to behave, than your dog is actually a better parent than you are .. period!

Even with my dog who has been brought up around babies and my nieces since she was a puppy. She's NEVER bit someone but I ALWAYS make sure when she's eating that all other dogs and people don't bother her. She will growl if you try and take it from her It's common sense.

Imagine a rescued cat giving you 7 years of their love and life to you. Then they get sick and you do all you can for it. To the point that there is nothing else you can do and the cat is begging you to let them go and you finally bring the cat to be there till the cat’s last moments knowing you were doing right by your faithful animal and the vet suddenly refuses to put the cat down because they want to run more tests? Yeah. Happened to me. So instead of being with him during his last moments in loving comfort he died alone in a cage...

I saw a post on here similar to this situation that I originally watched as a video on LaurDIY's vlog channel very close in time to one another, so I think my brain mixed up the two stories. The other situation had a petition because a service dog is being judged and the court wants to put the dog down when that dog is such a gentle, loving dog. I don't remember all the fine details, but that's the basics of what I remember. Once again, sorry for mixing the two.

Their actions are entirely disgusting and to be frank bowser didn’t even need to learn better. He defended himself and his food as any animal (even humans) would. The dog did nothing wrong, the people however did. Their behavior and inability to correct their child’s behavior is appalling.

I hate how all dog biting is equated in this Phillippi dog story. Even Nikki said that it was defensive, and small! This wasn't some large aggressive lock jaw bite. I believe any dog can be trained, but ESPECIALLY when a dog is only reacting to what it knows. Such a sad outcome...

Everything they said was iffy. I volunteer at an animal rescue and they’re all types of dogs old to young and see them get adopted….. so I don’t understand anything they said. Very sketch.

Our first dog was an older dog that bit my 4 year old sister, we just returned him to the lady who gave him to us in LA, She then sold him to a couple in Vegas, it’s possible. It was a short Doberman

I’ve always had dogs growing up and I can’t comprehend how they’d want to kill a perfectly healthy dog when it’s clearly their lack of responsibility that drove the dog to act like that. It broke my heart when we had do it for one of my dogs when she was very old and had big health problems… people who decide to be an animal owner need to be more serious and understand what goes into it.
