Choosing For You is now 10 years old! IMHO this is the best I Am Legion track of all time! Holy crap was I blown away when I first heard this track for the first time! Just the amount of energy this track brings is so fucking good! This was ahead of its time for 2013!

I'm absolutely convinced they sampled Gman's speech from the ending of Half Life 2! Not only the "choosing for you" part but also "Illusion of free choice". And if those samples aren't from the game directly, they for sure took inspiration!!

Their mastering and pure sound quality is unmatched by any other artist. Knife Party comes close with their mixing (you can turn their songs up so loud without it distorting) but they don't ever get close to the low end that Noisia's been putting in since 2013.

To be fair though, in an interview, they literally said that they just know their basics down cold, everybody thinks they are super complex but its just that they know a lot about processing in their production that gives them that shine that separates them apart. It was an interview with izotope, I forgot where it was, but it was really good. They are just really detail oriented when constructing their tracks. Plus they where already hip hop artists before they even got started with music, they were really into graffiti and rap, and all of them apparently didn't like each other at first, but they all found similarities and that's how the began, and also how the ended, lol. Nosia is and always will be legendary for their ability to bend genres, for their sound tracks with video games, and their sound design. And their influence on modern electronic music is massive, if it wasn't for them skrillex never would have made the scary monsters growl, there is an interview with skrillex where he talks about how he by accident made that growl using fm8 in ableton live, and it was a trick Nosia taught him, but it turned into something else. Amazing shit.

The part where it says "Choosing for you" is from half life. Another part of the song says "rather than giving you the illusion of free choice". They just distorted it a little bit to match their song.

It's about the topic in the song. They made it on purpose to get people thinking about things which they would normaly not think about. Like being controlled and living in a tiny box. This song is just representative for all that is going wrong in this World, and these guys are showing it without having respect for the single person which may be offended by it. They are giving direct informations in a piece of Art. They are showing disturbing pictures on purpose to give these 1.5 million People a chance thinking about the system they are talking about. Neither less there are people who cant understand due to the fact they dont want to understand. It's a free choice
